I make it 14 for me still remaining so relieved that none dropped away in todays.

I don't think I've heard either of those ones :kink:

The hook of 'Tom's Diner' is quite recognisable but it's difficult to explain it beyond "doo-doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo-doo"

I believe Wizz is without the ‘h’

You’re right! Gezza clearly just reverting to his knowledge of the correct spelling of the drug :kink:
I first discovered Tom's Diner through its use in Fall Out Boy's Centuries, which was a bit of a different vibe  Beautiful song, I've always thought about owning a diner B-)
I dunno- i was off my tits on Hooch and 2dogs at the time!

I hear you!

love those 2

The Pulp song is iconic, one of the many highlights from Different Class

Always loved Tom's Diner. I was a big big Suzanne Vega fan since Luka and still to this day I know all the lyrics of Tom's Diner by heart <3

Wish I had of voted for ‘Toms Diner’ now after hearing it recently on TOTP!

Sorted For E's & Wizz was the one I had pointed high that I was pleasantly surprised was doing so well but I guess it had to drop out some time. In some ways this song feels like the embodiment of my first festival experience even though that was years after the single came out.

Tom's Diner is also a lovely tune and richly deserved #1 over the crap that blocked it.

Where it all began for Sash! and, as it turns out, our 2nd favourite Sash! 2 of the 90s.

Our top placed Supergrass No 2 hit arrives with this Britpop classic from the long hot summer of 95.

I love that Mysterious Times is still to come! Who knew it was so well loved?

Alright was very, very close to my top 30, one of my favourite Britpop songs, so joyous.

Hadn't realised I voted for 18 of the top 36 - two of them gone now though! I loved Encore Une Fois at the time, didn't hear it for about a decade, came back to it and it still delivered. Alright is just an essential song of 1995.

'Encore Un Fois' is a tune but they were all near equally as great for me really. Extremely unlucky that Sash! missed out so many times and never got a #1.

'Alright' is great too. Think that would be in like a top 60 if I expanded mine.

Edited by Roba!

Great to see ‘Alright’ top 40 one of my favourite as you can see.

Love that Sash TOTP performance - always found it funny with dance songs the guy playing the keyboard just presses the same key - reminds me of Ross in Friends 😂

OMG! I lost 3 songs in a row. So, starting to plummet in the voters chart! :drama: -_-

Alright only 35?! :(

That’s 2 big hitters out for me over the last 2 days.

Oops, that's the first of my top 10 to go out, my descent of the leaderboard starts now x

I first heard Alright when I was very young as soundbites to various ads and TV shows, but I still love it now. An ultimate feelgood song x

I find Alright a little bit irritating, it’s okay if I’m in the right mood though.

Loved the Sash! track at the time but it’s basically a poor man’s Insomnia
