So it gained 562 downloads and 1,334 streaming points in a day. Looking for at least 12k+ sales points this week (including the streams that weren’t accounted for yesterday). This should be enough for top-30 now.

A top 30 debut would be just so big, I'd be over the moon even if it just scrapes in at 30.

The fact that we’re talking about a lead single potentially going Top 30 on opening week after so many barren years with single success is immense - I had come to accept we would never see this type of response ever again unless she had a big collab or something - iconic times :wub:

Her digital sales should make 3k easily by the end of the week.

Its all starting to look like padam padam does have legs to stay around, hwoever, hindsight as usual is great but if bmg did the friday release along with the physical this week Kylie would now be looking at a top 20 or possibly top 15 debut.

To think this time a week ago we were about to be bestowed with the premiere of this, and look how far it's came since then!

The progress all week everywhere is great, it's gaining ground on so many platforms.

I think we also forget sometimes that although she is 128th on Spotify that there are a quite a few above her with more than 3 tracks so lots of Lewis and Harry tracks for example won't be chart eligible except for their top 3. So that's good

 

She could do with being added to Today's Hits 33m followers, Mint 6m followers and Hot Hits UK 2.9m followers lol

 

Can also just mention she is at 16 on Apple Music Brazil. That's huge potential market.....

 

Also do we think another artist may feature in a remix??

Quick question, looked on the OCC website but can’t see it, are Shazam streams included? I don’t use Shazam but is it more it helps drive streams rather than creates them?

Another question. She has just been added to Just Hits. How long do acts usually last on a playlist like that? Could she be removed quickly or will she get a good 4-5 week run?

Shazam alone doesn’t count - once it ID’s the track it provides a link to listen on Apple Music (they seem to have an exclusivity deal with Apple and it doesn’t offer up a Spotify or Deezer link etc.,).

 

The official video on YouTube is also shown.

 

Can certainly drive a few sales if people click through and listen - I think it’s also used as a bit of an industry tool, radio stations etc., use it to gauge interest in new songs.
