Round 6 sees the end of *Meat Loaf's run. The American singer had already enjoyed a hugely successful music career before this single, which became his most successful, topping the charts in many countries including in the UK for 7 weeks in a row. It was the best selling song of 1993 in the UK but does not prevail in this contest. Meat Loaf sadly passed away earlier this year, leading to a couple of his biggest songs including this one re-entering the top 40.

I used to love that video at the time. Albeit it took me many many many watches to realise that there was a difference at 7:10ish between monster meat loaf and normal meat loaf
