Another extremely close round but just being squeezed out before the semi-final are German Eurodance group Culture Beat with their signature song Mr. Vain. It spent a month at #1 in late summer of 1993 and the group would go onto have 2 further top 10 hits and 3 more top 40 hits. They are still active today.

Well they were the 2 best songs in the top 5 so I guess it stands to reason that people with bad taste would vote for both of them :teresa:

 

The only saving grace of AOB potentially making the final is it looks like they might be obliterated by Haddaway at this rate.

Oh no I missed the previous round and would've pushed Ace of Base up to tying Culture Beat :drama: voted this time!

As tempting as it is to just declare Haddaway the winner now we'll stick to formalities, gonna need this tie broken before the final round goes up.
