And we lose Scouting For Girls. One of the most played groups during the ‘landfill indie’ era, they took their debut She’s So Lovely to no.7 in September 2007. Many find them irritating but I genuinely enjoyed their output at this time and I actually think the landfill indie era gets too much of a bad rep and I unashamedly will admit it was very much my scene. This song for instance will always take me back to my first freshers week and term at uni in general and those are special memories.

Jumping on Falling Stars now Scouting For Girls have gone. I definitely had a soft spot for their music when young but I think university playing those kind of songs have really killed off any guilty enjoyment I once got from them.

Not the biggest loss. Going for Enrique again!

Obviously I'm glad that's gone now x

 

I'm going for Sunset Strippers now. Not bad but I prefer everything else here to it.
