Are yesterdays streaming numbers definitely excluded from this data or are we just assuming?

I guess we'll find out when we get the usual Wednesday update to see what the figures are like

Thanks. Hopefully there is some concerted anti-ladbaby effort to block them from number one. I’ve downloaded 2 versions of last Christmas on iTunes so I’ve done my bit. I also have £10 on Wham! at 40/1 :D

but why buy that song when its not posing a threat to ladbaby?

Just offering an alternative since it doesn't seem like Wham or Mariah are closing that gap :kink:

And in fairness their song from last year was #10 at this point, and ended the week on over 50k...hypothetically speaking if you gathered 500 people who didn't like LadBaby (or the Conservative party) to buy all 30 copies it'd result in a 15k sales boost :magic: gee whiz!

But they're still more likely to than the F**k the Tories?!?! So it makes no sense to start buying that one when Wham! have the highest chance of closing the gap realistically...

I actually don't think so - next year I think someone would put up a fight and I don't see where they go from here really anyway.

We said the same last year. "How could he top Elton and Sheeran?" - he didn't top it, but he still went for it. He doesn't care about quality, it's just about his ego. Ugh.

Great.. it'll just encourage them to keep going for it for the foreseeable future sadly.

I think they've been genuinely worried about not making #1 though this year - they'll probably realise it's time to quit whilst they're ahead.

He cares about being #1 though, so if it was a slog to get there this year and they only just manage it there's not much point trying again

There’s always a 1 day lag for Spotify and Apple but Amazon usually report on time. Sometimes there’s even more data missing though.

i wonder if he'll be able to see that behind his ginormous ego. tbh i kinda hope he goes again and fails - maybe the embarassment from that will help him realise

I know songs get lost amongst the xmas surge in December but this month goes to show that big artists can still go for xmas no1 with a decent track and be there on streaming!

I'm not sure even a very narrow victory at #1 this year would be enough to stop him carrying on next year but we'll see.
The K**ts are homophobic. See previous single "Use My A***h**e As a C**t".

Let’s not discuss that though when Buzzjack have Ladbaby to go after, the ultimate sinners that they are

I'm a queer man. This is bullshit. That song is a satire of the music industry, implying that record execs would only give you a record deal if you f*** them. There is absolutely nothing homophobic about it, it just happens to be about men bumming.

You don't have to enjoy or condone The Kunts to criticise LadBaby...

Y'know if all the folks apparently so against LadBaby cruising to #1 again united to buy all 30 copies of Fuck The T*ries (up to #8 today) it might just be enough to do something  (but of course they won't do that)

I appreciate the fact that the real profanity here has been censored :D

I'm in utter disbelief at what they've said here, quite frankly

(Assuming they're not joking)
