Thanks to Joseph for running such a great and busy Predictions and Chart threads!

You're welcome, and I'd like to extend that thanks to the rest of the chart mod team who are a pleasure to work with, and to all of you for taking part every week!

Have an amazing Christmas everyone. No First Look on Christmas Day so I'll see you all for next week's chart show!

Wham surely for no.1 - new peaks for lots of these boring nostalgia American hits and hopefully Sia's 'Snowman'
I reckon the Sidemen will have another go next year and finally succeed.
If all the members of that group had made a more cohesive effort we might have seen a different result.

I almost hope the sales gap isn’t particularly close, would make it ever so slightly less of a tragic missed opportunity.

Yeah, they would have got it anyway. ARGH.

The gap must have been 11k at best most of the week. They never really made up much ground, due to his begging. Loraine gave him a big boost, as did the second version.

Can we just all agree that The Kunts and LadBaby and almost everybody else in the world are mostly good and slightly flawed people? Just like the rest of us?
To think if ACR never existed, Wham! would have the rightful Xmas #1 and LadBaby would only be #4.

Yeh as the others have said thanks for running the chart threads this year Joseph, your hard work is appreciated, happy Christmas!

And fair play to Lad Baby it’s not my cup of tea but a chart record goes again tonight, well done.

Shame about the outcome.

I'm all for Spice Girls campaigns now to get the record back!!!!

Merry Christmas everyone :)

Also a reminder that if you want to PARTAY on New Year's Eve, we will be counting down the Top 100 best-selling songs of 2022 exclusively on Buzzjack (with a listen live link via Synctube).

sign me UPPP!!!! what time?

Last year's timing worked well so I think we'll go for that again, 1–5 for the Top 100 with the room open to honourable mentions just before. Provided this suits Joseph of course as he'll be posting the detailed chart info throughout (I'll be hosting the Synctube room).
I'm not going to get into the debate regarding the songs involved, but 4 new entries in the Top 10 during Christmas week seems quite a feat! I wonder when the last time that happened was?
Wham! denied Christmas no 1 in 1984 by Band Aid and in 2022 by a Band Aid parody.
