I am also surprised they have not done an online exclusive physicals thing but I guess it comes down to budget and if they do not have a record label yet then its coming out of their own pocket.

I think you make a good point. Hopefully if/once they find one it’ll get a physical release on CD and vinyl.

It seems like it’d be a great opening track to me.

I also think there's a thing where they don't want to make this their "comeback" album, but keep it very clearly in the fan service section. I could see a physical release down the line though - but I feel like if it happens, it'll be after their new material as to avoid confusion.

It's a shame but the deluxe tracks don't really add anything for me — I'll be sticking with the standard edition.

I'm intrigued to hear some of the

leaks

now though... Any recommendations for some that should have been included here?

The 'Breathe Me' cover is — I hate to say it — pretty terrible. You can tell the production is a decade old and it strips away what made the original so great. Strange inclusion.

Off the top of my head: Love In Stereo, Too In Love, Three More Days, Fall From Grace, Light Up, Up In Flames, Arrow and Why Did the Lights Go.

A lot of these need work (IIRC, Arrow is basically Sugababes feat Shaznay), but I'd say these are some of the better tracks left off. Why Did the Lights Go is probably my own favourite out of these - would make a great closer.

Stay away from the demo versions then - they're actually horrible and has a cheap dance production so I was glad to hear this version

I have just listened to the album and it's great!!! They sound DIVINE! I'd put it up there in my top 3 fave Sugababe albums instantly

1. Three

2. Taller In More Ways

3. The Lost Tapes

4. Angels With Dirty Faces

5. Change

6. One Touch

7. Catfights & Spotlights

8. Sweet 7

Interestingly all my fave albums start with a T

Boys gives me real Little Mix vibes can totally see them doing that one. Love me hard is probably my fave or summer of 99.

PS looool at someone editing their Wiki page to put their download position as their UK position on the discography

'Back In the Day' got me all in my feels. So gorgeous and I really adore it as the closer.

Got me so nostalgic that it got me thinking, would you all welcome a new Greatest Hits, but each track is reimagined with this line-up? Doesn't even have to be every track, just their fave tracks (plus a couple of new tracks ofc) - I'd really love to hear Siobhan's version of 'Caught In A Moment' in studio form of some sort for example, plus I think it'd be a good way to get Sugababes back to the forefront of the general public's minds.

EDIT: Also, I don't think I've heard 'One Touch' in full. I might go on a Sugababes binge and binge all of their albums (Angels, Three, Taller & Sweet 7 ( ) I've not heard for a while either) but 'Change' has always been my fave (yes, I'm a pop whore - soz about it :heehee:) and I have a bigger soft spot for 'Catfights...' than most *eyes*

Personally I would only invest in something like that were it a live album release, otherwise I think they need to leave well alone. They are not Siobhan's songs afterall and 2:0 never re-recorded Overload nor did 3:0 touch any 1:0 / 2:0 songs in studio form (less said about 4:0 the better). They should come back with their new album anyway start as they mean to go on if its anything like TLP I have high hopes for them.

There were rumours of 3.0 re-Recording material for Overloaded and it did not go down well with the fanbase. I think that as much as I would adore to hear Siobhans studios of Freak and Stronger and CIAM, the Heidi Stan’s would absolutely lose their nut and the wave of toxicity it would unleash would be unholy. It’s bad enough as it is
I’ll keep my fingers crossed that somewhere down the line there’ll be physicals for The Lost Tapes, though I understand if there doesn’t end up being any. Already dreaming of this on vinyl though!

2.0 re-recorded Overload with Trevor Horn, but dropped it when it didn't sound right.

Ultimately, these songs are time capsules. Unless they'd do something interesting with them, I wouldn't want re-recordings - acoustic/live versions would be nice though.

Saw this:

I do not want any re-recordings, trying to erase any past member, especially Heidi is not it. Like I wouldn't support if 2.0 re-recorded 1.0 stuff or 3.0 re-recorded any earlier line-ups songs.

I think we should just leave songs as they were originally released.

---

Also I saw Siobhan like a fan's comment requesting vinyls! Pleaseeee let this be something that materialises.

Before I was just a 2.0 stan but this year really made me a 1.0 stan too.

This is my opinion too. Not just that I entirely disagree with re-recording somebody's vocals (and as much as I love Heidi its not just about her vocals, I disagreed when they were going to re-record One Touch tracks too, it shouldn't happen to any member), I don't want a legacy act whose only career is about 2 decade old songs. I want them to be a relevant, current act recording new music and touring.

It's great to hear the songs with Siobhan on them, why do we need them to waste effort re-recording songs for the bare minimum return. The Lost Tapes just did 1,000 sales, re-recording the hits would do nothing much more than that when they probably could get a top ten album of new, promoted material.

This says it so much better than I did!

I am by no means a Heidi stan, she was always my least favourite Sugababe until Jade joined (I totally missed the first line up so my Sugababe journey began with Freak until I back dated a few years later - Amelle is further down now too tbf) but I see no need nor have any desire for re-recording or eliminating members of the group.

Yeah, I was all for it originally but now I’d only want it if they were live recordings. Like a tour cd or acoustic sessions cd.

A tour CD would be nice.

Really what would be incredible would be for them to finally release the long requested and awaited Tour DVD with a live CD of the O2 show. That would be truly epic. Delta did this in her Believe Again tour and its so great.

That’d be perfection, we could get it at the end of 2023. One can dream.
