In all projections I’ve made, RAYE comes out on top (mostly quite easily). For Lewis to do it he either needs to sell a significant number of extra CDs or release a new version to download. Even then it will be difficult to build up the momentum.

 

Unless of course he has CDs that have not been dispatched yet.

Actually RAYE seems to be currently 20% ahead of last week so is on track for around 54,000 sales.

I think Lewis has it in the bag, he’s doing mega well on iTunes still, he’s #1,2,3,5,23 and 72 there which will be adding a good amount of sales, plus I wouldn’t count out some physicals still to be counted before friday

Hope SZA can sneak to top 3 on singles this week and get a new peak.. less than 1k between her and Taylor!

I was expecting Miguel to scrape into the top 40 seeing as he’s #10 on Spotify. He’d have easily gone top 20 if he was given a reset

With physicals making up just under half of Lewis’s sales are we expecting a drop out of the top 5/10 next week?

I'm anticipating he's still got something left up his sleeve, he won't just let this happen.

He will probably let us know his team have found another 10000 CD in the warehouse behind some boxes that he definitely didn’t know about (!!) and they all need to go ASAP

Well musically I much much prefer Raye’s song, but it’s nice and quite rare to go into a chart show not knowing for sure who’s gong to be #1, so thanks Lewis for potentially giving us that. And if he does manage to get there against those streaming odds then all kudos to him.

I’d like Raye to win this battle so we get some stability at the top for a popular record that missed out in December!
