It's nearly exactly 3 years after her last album which got to #24 with 3.3k for context. Not sure how the format availability etc. compares but I would take a wild guess at it being maybe around the teens at best?

Thats what i'm not quite sure of, he said that "Someone ordered 6,000 too many cds" but i'm not sure if that's the total or the individual amounts of the different cds, it could be over 20K or 10K. Most Likely 10K

must be lots cos it's not sold out yet, all 3 are still available

 

I actually think he should wait until he has better playlisting on Spotify and then release the CD singles

now he's still too low on HH and that translates into only being low top 50 on Spotify and doing just 100K a day, which is nothing,

but he's top 10 on both Amazon and Apple thanks to the favorable playlist so better streams on Spotify are only 1 check away ;)

If Lewis has signed 10,000 CDs and taken 5 seconds a cd (which seems reasonable), it will have taken nearly 14 hours of signing, which seems like a huge amount of effort for a potential top 5 spot.

A high peak is easier to plug to general audiences when advertising the album on posters and tv adverts. They won’t care it dropped out quickly after. Seems quite clear this won’t be a long running hit unless something drastically changes to its Spotify performance, so might as well push for a big peak and then move on.

They messed up the campaign big time releasing it in December and Lewis joked about it at one of his gigs. The music video should have been saved for January. It won’t matter if it crashes later but it’s go hard or go home at this point. A lot of the sponsored AD and TikTok promotion was useless because of Christmas and now people aren’t that interested in the song. I bet his label thought a Christmas Number 1 was guaranteed with Ed on board and it failed miserably.

i think for some of us there is some incredible music in the chart right now (i.e. Raye, Sza, Lady Gaga) and people are bored of Capaldi pulling the same old tricks. People are bored of him screaming over his songs. Some of us want something new and fresh, recognition for artists that haven't had masses of success and made millions already.

I hope Miguel can request a reset to get himself into the top 40

Lewis will do what he likes his fanbase will support him and throw him 59p or download every version but from what I’ve seen online the song itself is not connecting with his fanbase who are drooling over his unreleased demo. He is responding to DM which is enough to encourage people to buy it.

 

I think RAYE will keep #1 this week.
