January 19, 20232 yr lol no need to be so obnoxious more than 200 copies a day, thats nothing nada, we got all kinds of re-releases every week and they do more than that on a daily basis ie George Michael-Older was doing 1 K a day for instance I actually checked the last year of re-issue and cannot find any other example that is so front-loaded
January 19, 20232 yr Sorry if it came out as obnoxious, wasn't meant like that. Anyway, I don't see there is any general demand for that particular version of St. Jude, considering this is the second time it re-enters very high. Edited January 19, 20232 yr by Sour Candy
January 19, 20232 yr I didn't think it came across as obnoxious at all. But yeah it was always going to be majorly front-loaded so I'm not at all surprised it only did 400 copies in 2 days, I'm sure we've seen similar numbers with heavily front-loaded releases.
January 19, 20232 yr Just realised new Luude single isn't Top 100. I didn't expect it to smash straight out of the box but thought it would be somewhere in there this week.
January 19, 20232 yr One thing that has not been mentioned is how consistent Pointless by Lewis Capaldi has been this chart week. Sunday 1 - 11 Monday 1 - 11 Wednesday still 1 - 11.
January 19, 20232 yr One thing that has not been mentioned is how consistent Pointless by Lewis Capaldi has been this chart week. Sunday 1 - 11 Monday 1 - 11 Wednesday still 1 - 11. It’s slowly starting to increase on Spotify day by day and has almost overtaken forget me on there now. Think it will make the top 10 again next week and start a run in it
January 19, 20232 yr That gif is hilarious  Reminds me of The Final Conflict in the Omen series!
January 19, 20232 yr You will all be glad to know that D-Block Europe have just dropped a new song x Jesus Harold Christ, their "dropping" of songs is very much akin to their toilet habits - both in terms of regularity and quality.
January 19, 20232 yr Jesus Harold Christ, their "dropping" of songs is very much akin to their toilet habits - both in terms of regularity and quality. 🤣 completely agree
January 20, 20232 yr Love The 1975 but I thought they had moved into their era of single success being beyond them in the streaming era - they’ve charted at 46, 29, 29 and 52 with their singles and ‘About You’ even if it misses the Top 40 could get a new peak this week.

That seems about usual for them I'd say? I know they've had the occasional top 20 but they usually rank about middling like that with most of their releases. I've never really thought of them as big hitters singles-wise.
January 20, 20232 yr Most of their career has been in the 'streaming era' and they've always been pretty consistent at charting their singles. They literally had their highest chart position to date with a single from the last album!
