Honestly as cover albums go, this is an exciting set of song choices, and I'm sure Claire is going to sound amazing on them! I just hope the production will be up to the mark.

The vinyl listing on Amazon notes that it's "Collector's Edition, Special Limited Edition, Limited Edition". It makes me wonder if it's an Amazon exclusive edition... or if it's just the one version of the vinyl that will be available everywhere but is being referred to as being collector's/special/limited.

 

So Claire's album is released on 25th August, and Lisa's is supposed to be 18th August going by iTunes, but who knows whether Plastic Pop will meet that deadline. Solo Steps albums on vinyl... it's like buses, two come along at the same time :cool:

I’m not always the biggest fan of a full covers album BUT there is some great choices there !

Some rather inspired choices… whether she sounds good on then remains to be seen…
