It's that time of the year again. Here is the one rate to decide which song that missed the top 20 really should've peaked there. ;) Back for its 9th anniversary now, and 2nd time with me as the host.

 

Here is how it works. Any song that entered in the top 40, but failed to reach the top 20, for the first time in 2022 will be eligible. 103 titles are therefore eligible for competition, which will be randomly split into two semi-finals.

 

We have no time for songs that miss the top 20 twice, so only songs that reach the top 20 of the semi-final will qualify to the grand final.

that was a challenge! i struggled to narrow it down to 20 let alone 10! and surprisingly, nothing worthy of the -2!

 

Oop I missed voting in the previous rounds of this (tbf it looks like they fell to page 2 and didn't get bumped oop x). Ah well, will try and make sure to vote in this part x

 

I wouldn't have changed any of the semi 1 qualifiers as I don't particularly love any of those 4 closest DNQs and the rest are definitely too far away. 'Can't Be Us' is my fave of those DNQs, but obviously miles off (I imagine I'd have at least doubled its points :P)

 

SF2 maybe a different story as depending on how close they are / what came 20th I miiight have saved Arctic Monkeys and/or Vibe Chemistry as I imagine both may have been points contenders for me. Possibly Stormzy too though I'd probably need to have heard it a couple more times, I remember it being a bit of a banger on first listen though. Poor brave 'Khabib' deserved at least one point for proving Central Cee can still make good songs x
