Wow, a week with Miracle at no. 1 on the singles and Boygenius at no. 1 on the albums would be something to behold, real good taste from the UK. Really happy for Bridgers, Dacus & Baker, I really hope this gives a boost for their next solo album campaigns, especially the latter two (But obvs best wishes to Phoebe, she just already has success).

Lana looking at her first album to remain top 5 since Lust For Life.

Zara coming for that top 20 soon then.

Aw at Pink out of the top 40 thanks to ACR but it did well for what it was and a #14 peak was great for her.

I am hoping Melanie Martinez and "Void" can squeeze into the top 40. What is the likelihood?
y'all know that this is not the cd's right? this is him signing the "Signed Prints" included in some album bundles, there is not proof for the signed cds (i think).

I would need a video of him signing those 30,000, all of them not a video of him signing 1 or 2 lol

If you think it's feasible, just give it a try, take zip plastic bags and start labelling them and see how many you can, if you reach 200 it's already a miracle

Celebrities sign thousands a lot. I've watched them sign thousands over a couple of days when I worked at conventions. Signing thousands isn't a lot to people who are used to doing it as part of their living. I've done 1000 signatures myself when I had to hand sign some stuff for a competition. Did it in bursts of an hour or so.

Nice of Die For You to move aside and give Green Green Grass a shot at the Top 10. ;)

We just need 'Heat Waves' to get a reset and the charts will feel late 90s Fresh!

really hope Lana can keep top five, she's doing okay on streamers right?

If it was the only work I had to do over the course of weeks and I had a person helping me by moving each one to the side like Ed does with the prospect of a #1 single, I'm sure I'd manage.

People hate Ed so much they try to discredit everything he does - he signed them, he always signs them and he knows he’ll be dragged to hell and back if he didn’t and used autopen or a ghost signer, the thing with Ed he is actually cares about the charts, positions, weeks in charts, breaking records etc., and will put in the work with signing to do so.

Also his releases are not ‘surprise’ releases - they are planned well in advance giving him the opportunity to sign x amount per week, Sam Ryder said he done the same in the build up to his album release.

Not signing all their items is an issue with ALL artists, most in fact do not sign everything. I've known people at labels who have signed things for artists. It does look like Ed signed a big chunk of his CDs though.
Who’d have predicted Meghan Trainor having top hits in the top 40 in 2023?!
Also not Ed Sheeran’s CDs still dominating the discussion the week after it’s actually relevant to the chart. :kink:

All i can say that I had an experience of signing a letter, putting it into an envelope and sealing it. There were two of us and we signed for us two and one other person  . And basically we made a sort of a conveyer and managed to do this procedure to 2000 letters in roughly 3 hours. And here we did the whole thing alone, while Ed only signed and had an assistant to do so.

So I definitely think it is doable in several shifts, and I think Ed did it!

Isn't it also the reason he's so high this week though?

This!!

It's like... let it go already.

He's not No.1... leave it be.
