Welcome to Club Bizarre 23, where your host, uhsting, is ready to bring you BIG sounds!

After unexpected success of car alarm banger Logic Lost's Blunt Force Trauma, I quickly absorbed the power of Buzzjack Gods and they are telling me to go with a theme I like. The founder of my USP, Meekul Can It Rot, has told me to go with BIG ENERGY as the theme of Club Bizarre.

 

Big energy is a broad theme. In general, we want entries that filled with vigour. In particularly, we are looking at tracks that have a BIG drop (like

), heavy bass (like
), or even a noticeable drop will do (like Meekul's
). If you are thinking of genres, big room, dark techno, progressive house and hardstyle/hardcore (like
) are all good choices. Electronica, trance and house may also be fine, depending on the mood and character of the track. Avoid genres like chill, lo-fi, future, tropical house etc. Certainly, no entries that are big commercially are allowed!

 

RULES

- Make sure that your entry falls under the Dance genre - essentially something that would be appropriate to post in this area of the forum.

- The aim of this contest is showcasing lesser-known music so keep that in mind, e.g. no big chart hits or cult classics. Lesser known songs by bigger artists may be okay.

- Please avoid anything that has already been sent to previous editions of BJSC, Club Bizarre or Unknown Pleasures.

- If any of these rules aren't adhered to then the Dance forum moderators (awardinary, Dan and lewistgreen) may veto your entry, in which case you will have to submit a new song.

- This is an anonymous contest so please do not reveal what you have sent - the unmasking occurs during the results show.

Confirmed, wasn't sure I had anything for this then I remembered something I was saving for Club which does actually fit the theme (I think/hope!)

My last entry could've fit into this quite well actually, so I guess I'll be doing something similar here! Nonetheless, have a banger from the archives I can't wait to inflict on you x

The more I read the rules, the more it sounds a bit... strict. I mean, does it have to be four-on-the-floor (I cannot submit a DnB)?

 

Avoid genres like "future", probably also means no trap-inspired drops (Hudson Mohawke, etc.) and no dubstep.

we don't want to encourage commercial future house/future bass.

trap, dubstep and DnB should be fine provided they are on the energetic side of the spectrum.

and if you are unsure about the entry, just send it anyway and the worst that can happen is we will ask you to replace it.

Okay you asked for a big drop so I've sent the first thing that came to mind. Hope I'm suitably on theme!
