April 14, 20233 yr Pointless is definitely still to come as well as Forget Me - everything else in Tuesday's mids bar its top 15 has already come up.
April 14, 20233 yr This might get an automatic reset with the Doja Cat remix release this week... I reckon it will climb but not enough to get a reset. Strange of R1 to mute the word "kill" but it doesn’t get muted on Now 114
April 14, 20233 yr Author Do think Joseph remix kill bill could push back scr Possibly, hard to say this early!
April 14, 20233 yr I assume the remix is intended to get it to #1 in the US where it is playing eternal bridesmaid. Odds on it getting reset and getting back to #3 again here. :kink:
April 14, 20233 yr Author 17 | | 17th week Lewis Capaldi Pointless 2nd single from Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent Released: 2nd December 2022 Label: Vertigo Berlin Chart Statistics NE (15/12/2022) | 20-43-40-60-15-1-12-13-14-14-16-55-55-64-78-68-x RE (20/04/2023) | 17 Sales: 300k+ Certification: Silver Status: Standard Chart Ratio 01 Sales 15 Audio Streaming 44 Video Streaming Video HlNGI4LbAto Biography “I never really think, ‘OK, I’m going to write a song,’” Lewis Capaldi told Apple Music. “My creative process is basically: I sit down with a guitar and or at the piano, and I just start to write.” But the amazing thing about Capaldi is that he’s become one of the most popular young artists of his generation by preserving his songs in that raw, unvarnished state, to provide the purest representation of the pain and longing coursing through his lyrics. Amid the hyper-paced, totally wired world of late-2010s pop, this unassuming Scottish singer-songwriter and former Up Next artist—born 1996 in Glasgow—stopped the internet dead in its tracks with his DIY 2017 single “Bruises”, a stark, piano-based breakup ballad that introduced a voice imbued with the sort of soulful grit and deeply felt heartache you wouldn’t expect from a baby-faced 21-year-old. “Bruises” was Capaldi’s ticket to international major-label deals and tours opening for pop A-listers like Sam Smith and Niall Horan, but he would swiftly join their ranks with his equally rustic 2018 single “Someone You Loved”, another tear-jerking expression of sorrow—inspired by the death of his grandmother—that went to No. 1 in the US and UK, and has since become one of the most-streamed songs of all time. Those singles formed the foundation of Capaldi’s chart-topping full-length debut, 2019’s Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which fleshes out his sound with lush orchestration and gospel gravitas but, through songs like the suicide-themed “Before You Go”, retains his fearless flair for dredging up the messiest of emotions. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2018 09 Grace -2- MILLIONAIRE 2018 01 Someone You Loved -3- MILLIONAIRE 2019 06 Bruises -1/5- MILLIONAIRE 2019 04 Hold Me While You Wait -4- MILLIONAIRE 2019 01 Before You Go -6- MILLIONAIRE 2022 01 Forget Me -1- 2022 01 Pointless -2- 2023 24 How I'm Feeling Now -PS- 4 x #1 | 5 x Top 5 | 7 x Top 10 | 7 x Top 20 | 8 x Top 40 | 8 x Top 100 Social Media Lewis Capaldi http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 16 | 19 | 24th week Taylor Swift Anti-Hero 1st single from Midnights Released: 21st October 2022 Label: Taylor Swift Chart Statistics NE (03/11/2022) | 1-1-1-1-1-1-5-6-12-53-2-4-4-4-4-5-6-17-19-19-23-18-20-19-16 Sales: 800k+ Certification: Platinum Status: Accelerated Chart Ratio 01 Sales 01 Audio Streaming 01 Video Streaming Video b1kbLwvqugk Biography The country world feigned surprise when, after three albums of Music Row-indebted songcraft, Taylor Swift formally embraced pop on 2012’s Red. But no one should have been shocked: Any 14-year-old capable of persuading her parents to move from suburban Pennsylvania to Nashville for her career clearly has ambition to burn. And the thrill of following Swift’s rise has been watching her execute it flawlessly, largely because her melodic intelligence is equal to that ambition. Her early, youthful love songs heralded 2010's newly self-possessed Speak Now—which showed off her scathing wit—and evolved into knowing, ironclad pop fare that held its own against boisterous Max Martin production on 1989, her fifth album, titled after her birth year. Throughout, her songwriting has blurred the lines between the public and private, burying enough real-life clues (about, say, scarves and Starbucks) to make clear that only Swift can own her narrative, thank you very much, while still retaining a lyrical elegance. Though 2017’s reputation might have been perceived as a gorgeously constructed piece of dramatic theater—its attendant heroes and villains all real-life characters from Swift's public feuds—all that spectacle proved an attention-grabbing cover for her most romantic album yet. She turned up the romance even more on 2019’s Lover, but it was 2020’s folklore and its companion, evermore—ruminative, relatively lo-fi albums written and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic—that earned her the Apple Music Award for Songwriter of the Year. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2009 02 Love Story -1- MILLIONAIRE 2009 60 White Horse -AT- 2009 51 Teardrops On My Guitar -2- 2009 100 Crazier -OST- 2009 30 You Belong With Me -3- 2010 57 Today Was A Fairytale -OST- 2010 30 Mine -1- 2012 67 Safe & Sound (feat. That same year, Ella’s debut album, ‘Chapter One,’ (Salaam Remi, Babyface, Steve Mac, TMS) spawned her first Platinum selling album, making her one of only 3 UK artists to break Platinum in 2014. A revered artist, in 2015 Ella received two prestigious BRIT Award nominations for 'Best British Female' and 'Best British Single', rounding off the year with a landmark sell-out UK headline tour, which included two shows at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Following a whirlwind few years, Ella returned to the studio to being work on her next project. During the process she continued to collaborate with some of the biggest names in music, appearing on hits produced by superstar DJ’s Kygo and Sigma. She also returned to the live stage, touring with the likes of Take That, James Arthur and Rudimental, the latter of whom signed her to a new record deal with their label Major Toms/Asylum. For Ella, this marked a brand new start. “I want it to be fresh,” says the 23-year-old. “The industry's changed so drastically since I last released music over four years ago. I want to embrace that. I want to treat everything like it's a clean slate.” - Spotify Top 100 Chart History Switch Disco 2023 15 REACT (Switch Disco & Ella Henderson) -NAS- 0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 0 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 1 x Top 100 Ella Henderson 2014 01 Ghost -1- MILLIONAIRE 2014 07 Glow -2- 2014 16 Yours -3- 2015 96 Mirror Man -4- 2015 04 Glitterball (Sigma feat. April 14, 20233 yr Really hope Kill Bill will be reset, still a excellent song and deserved better Deserved better? It had 7 weeks at #3
April 14, 20233 yr Really hope Kill Bill will be reset, still a excellent song and deserved better I mean....it didn't do badly, I don't think it's going to go any higher than its peak here?
April 14, 20233 yr Really hope Kill Bill will be reset, still a excellent song and deserved better What mor could you want from it exactly? So many songs I'd kill to even have a fraction of the humongous success that had.
April 14, 20233 yr Tbh if we have to with the resets i'd rather have Forget Me back in the top 10 than that George Ezra trash.
April 14, 20233 yr Knew Pointless would get reset as well, at least it means Someone You Loved doesn't return to the top 40. It also continues its very weird chart run. If Pointless is as high as #17, Forget Me is 100% top 10, hopefully instead of Green Green Grass instead of Red Flags
