May 3, 20232 yr looks like an insurmountable lead for lottery winners now then, well done to them I guess for really mobilising their fans can't comment on the quality of their music though as i've not heard any of it pleasing that Calvin has a clear lead on David this week too and the CDs aren't even out yet
May 3, 20232 yr Looking a lot like #4 for Jessie Ware, which in a week as busy as this I'm happy with. Would have been nice to get her highest peaker though!

May 3, 20232 yr I hope the Lottery Winners can stop Nines from getting the #1 album and I also hope that David can deny Calvin an extra week at the top
May 3, 20232 yr The Lottery 15k physical, 130 streaming and 700 digital. I would guess that with that type of sales distribution they might not be in the top 100 next week. But yes looks like The Lottery have got it in the bag. I'm surprised that Nines hasn't even sold 1000 physicals. Do we often see sales distributions that heavily skewed to physicals?
May 3, 20232 yr oh pretty low for The National, Taylor did them dirty not tweeting about the release actually Freya is pretty low, lower than expected even with all the drama
May 3, 20232 yr Does Jessie have a chance of holding at #3? I assume she's doing a little better in streaming than The National which might help her (shame we didn't get their sales break down).
May 3, 20232 yr Nice to see Shakin' Stevens still Top 10, really good album and the subject of tonight's Tim Burgess listening party on Twitter https://twitter.com/Tim_Burgess/status/1653836842305724444

She was signing all her Banquet personalised vinyl and CDs today so would assume that’s going to be a decent boost for her sales so might just Lee her ahead - it’s going to be close. Surprised she hasn’t reduced the CD and download to £5 to encourage a few extra sales.
May 3, 20232 yr Would love Jessie to keep top 3… Either way, I just hope it can be her biggest opening sales to date. Her highest opening week to date was ‘Tough Love’ album with 10,684.

I would like to think with 2 days left + the extra missing streaming data for yesterday that she should do over 11k? Particularly if she's signing more! Would be amazing 5 albums in to have her biggest opening! It's a rare feat for a british female artist to have 5 top 10 studio albums as well. I believe only a handful have achieved that: Kate Bush (10) - I believe she has the most top 10 albums by a british female act, Shirley Bassey (6), Annie Lennox (5), Paloma Faith (5) & Ellie Goulding (5). Honourable mentions; Little Mix (6) & Sade (5). Not sure if I've missed anyone else.
May 3, 20232 yr A busy week in the albums! I'm guessing at least half of the top ten will be new entries. Looks like it will be considerably more than half at this rate.
