A little futuristic but 10 weeks on from now what do you think we will be saying or have said about Padam Padam? At that point what sales do you think it will have, will it have peaked, what will its peak be, where will it be on the chart, how many further remixes will we have etc.

It will have spent its 4th week at #1 x

God how I'd love to revisit this post then and quote your post and say you were bang on the money.

Will have peaked at #4 and now be bobbing around the lower reaches of the top 10.

I'm hoping we get to say it's been a top 10 hit, and sales at that point will on about 300k or more.

I haven’t changed my opinion about it. Still don’t think it’s a great song and there are far stronger lead singles but glad it’s doing ok for her.

She's higher now on streaming which might buoy her.

I reckon it'll have peaked at #6 or #7 and be either still top 10 or just outside it.

If that's how it pans out padam padam is on for a really decent chart run which I'm all for as we havnt had that for a long time either.

Hopefully it’s established itself inside the top ten and well over 200k sales….if it’s to make number 1 think it’ll happen from week 8….oh we can dream.

I do have little moments when I think imagine if it went number 1, that would be totally something else but for now the dream is top 10 and a fifth decade of her having top 10 hits.

So another 6 weeks out from now… I’m expecting a Top 5 singles (*.*) and it still holding up well - it feels like one of the songs that will do well throughout the summer.

I know my previous response was jokey but of course #1 would be a complete "pinch yourself" moment and I truly wish it was possible! I sadly don't see the overall support getting to that sort of level.

 

I find it so hard to predict where it could be by week 10. Clearly the song is going from strength to strength as we move into week 5. So I'd love for that to continue for as long as possible. Week 10 is the end of July and I'm sure the song will still be sounding incredible deeper into the summer. This would be a song where I'd very happily see it avoid ACR countless times! :lol:

 

I also feel like whenever it does go onto ACR, it'll still be well within the Top 100 regardless - which for Kylie has previously been unthinkable that that could ever be possible.

Number 1 would be a huge pinch yourself moment and it does cross my mind but I do try not to go there, hopefully it can also avoid acr for as long as possible as padam padam is kylies big charg presence songbthat we have waited and wished for, for a long time.

Seeing Kylie top 10 on week 5 is just amazing, i really do think there is a chance she might still be top 10 as we head to its 10th week on release, now thaat top 10 is achieved its more how high can it go and how much can it sell, id love if she could get a platinum single now with padam padam and again i think it has a strong chance of doing it.

As the 10 week mark is only around the is interesting looking back on what we thought where it might be.
