Born David Orobosa Omoregie in Brixton, London in 1998, Dave suddenly implanted himself in the UK rap scene in 2016, first with the electric grime alliance “Thiago Silva” with AJ Tracey and then when Drake jumped on the remix of the velvety “Wanna Know” from Dave’s first EP, Six Paths. Rebuffing label advances to pursue his career independently, he demonstrated a self-reliant streak on releases such as his 2017 EP Game Over, whose “Question Time,” a scathing attack on Theresa May’s Conservative government, garnered him an Ivor Novello songwriting award. Dave’s full-length debut, the Mercury Prize winner Psychodrama, followed in 2019; epitomizing his achingly honest rap style, it laid bare personal vulnerabilities while challenging institutional racism in a provocative fashion rarely heard in British rap. The centerpiece of the lavishly soundscaped album was “Black,” a heart-wrenching portrait of the prejudice affronting Black lives. At the 2020 BRIT Awards, where Psychodrama won Album of the Year, Dave started his performance of “Black” by accompanying himself on piano and ended it by excoriating British Prime Minister Boris Johnson as a “real racist” and executing a perfect mic drop. - Apple Music Central Cee Central Cee is proving himself to be one of London’s most exciting emerging artists. Whilst only just turning 22, the rapper had already released a slew of solid tracks in addition to a powerful Next Up Freestyle on Mixtape Madness reflecting the rising star’s versatility and distinctive delivery. Building on this foundation, in 2020, Central Cee has gone from strength to strength dropping two singles ‘Day In A Life’ and ‘Molly’, with both tracks having racked up 8 million audio streams collectively. The heat surrounding Central Cee along with some killer short freestyle videos showcasing Central Cee’s lyrical abilities has led to him doubling his instagram following in a matter of months (currently 135K). He’s also gained support from various artists at home and abroad including a co-sign from US rapper Big Sean. Music has been an integral part of Central Cee’s upbringing, dating back to the tender age of 8. His eagerness to create his own musical legacy is deeply rooted within his earliest memories of absorbing the rich sounds of his dad's old school hip hop collection. - Spotify Top 100 Chart History Dave 2017 51 Wanna Know (feat. June 16, 20232 yr looks like the bad timing of the EP has cost UK Rap a top 10 position (and I guess Trojan Horse will have a similar fate)

June 16, 20232 yr looks like the bad timing of the EP has cost UK Rap a top 10 position (and I guess Trojan Horse will have a similar fate)So basically it flopped
June 16, 20232 yr I know i'm basically throwing myself into the lion's pit on this site by saying that I think Dave & Central Cee work really well together. Uk Rap is solid, and Trojan Horse and Sprinter are also great. Obviously Dave is the highlight but Cench is most certainly not at his worst.

Equipped with attitude (and choruses) to spare, RoRo showcased her ability to reach audiences far beyond her island roots with her debut EP - 'Mood Forever'. Earning Annie Mac's 'New Name' on BBC Radio 1 with her debut single, Mine, RoRo went on to gain further support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, BBC 1xtra, Capital Xtra and beyond. Follow-up singles Dance with the Devil and Mood Forever landed support from radio and online tastemakers in UK, U.S., Europe and across the Caribbean. An interview feature on Edith Bowman's Play Next podcast gave a glimpse into RoRo's world and the writing behind it. 2020 also saw RoRo reactively release Black - Palace of Me, in response to the Black Lives Matter movement. A one-take track that explores black positivity, recorded over a year prior and not intended for a release, it showcased the depth of RoRo's writing ability and yet another musical style that she effortlessly carries. - Spotify Top 100 Chart History Hannah Laing 2023 13 Good Love (Hannah Laing & RoRo) -NAS- 0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 0 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 1 x Top 100 RoRo 2023 13 Good Love (Hannah Laing & RoRo) 0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 0 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 1 x Top 100 Social Media Hannah Laing RoRo http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png
