While I'm all for kylie climbing its a tough week and now that top 10 has been secured I think even if it drops it will rebound again.

On Friday I voted a very specific non-mover, and it is quite likely it will shape up to be one! Leigh-Anne is unfortunately out of the Spotify top-200, Peggy slid down a bit on Spotify too and is way behind on other platforms.

So I can see Kylie overtaking David Kushner and being overtaken by Hannah Laing. Still need an eye on Peggy though, but even if Peggy overtook, she would still be at 10.

I’m going for Harry at 6 and Kylie at 7. Leigh-Anne falling below them both.

Of course Leigh-Anne, Switch Disco, Rema and Hannah Laing are all threats, so unless anything massively changes, 11 is the worst case scenario. Imagine us saying that even as recently as last week?

I think Kylie’s label will ensure she climbs to at least 8.

I’m going for Harry at 6 and Kylie at 7. Leigh-Anne falling below them both.

This is what I'm thinking also, and I'd be over the moon with that result!

The chart analyst and historian James Masterton said: “What makes the success of Padam Padam significant is that it is genuinely Kylie’s first hit single of the streaming era, her first since paid purchases ceased to be a mass market product seven or eight years ago. She has bridged a generation gap with a hit record that is reaching out both to her loyal (and ageing) acolytes but also a new generation of music fans.”

Leigh Anne is an underperforming. Shame - I like her more than Jesy.

Anyway as far as PP goes, I’m sticking to 7 or even a ride of 6.

With all the goodwill around her and the song, we can and should start manifesting a top 3 eventually!!

As it's at 7 on First Look, I have gone for non-mover.

I think Leigh Anne may fall, but Peggy Gou and Hannah Laing are biting at the heels and you can never count out Rema and Harry.

^ Amazing growth! The download sales continue to impress me, she's remaining so consistent with them, and it doesn't even feel like fans are particularly pushing that this week.

Week 1-4 information: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=7370368

Today’s data

#4 Jazzy 18,224 (+4,213)

#5 Harry Styles 17,463 (+3,697)

#6 Rudimental 16,574 (+3,677)

#7 Kylie Minogue 16,266 (+3,509)

#8 Leigh-Anne 15,991 (+1,622)

#9 Switch Disco 15,781 (+3,579)

#10 Rema 14,772 (+3,385)

#11 Hannah Laing 14,576 (+3,524)

#12 Loreen 12,608 (+2,847)

Looking at this data and the balance of sales versus streams, this is my projection for the end of the week, with overall sales figures, compared with Kylie.

#4 Jazzy (+4,150)

#5 Harry Styles (+2,000)

#6 Rudimental (+1,200)

#7 Kylie Minogue

#8 Switch Disco (-50)

#9 Hannah Laing (-1,400)

#10 Rema (-1,550)

#11 Leigh-Anne (-4,950)

#12 Loreen (-5,250)

Looking at this, Jazzy should be way ahead at #4; and the gap between the top 10 and Leigh-Anne/Loreen will also be massive. So with or without record company intervention, Kylie should be between 5 and 10.

Unless something unexpected happens, I cannot see Kylie catching Rudimental.

Things will be neck and neck between Kylie and Switch Disco. I think, because of being ahead on Spotify, they will pip Kylie to the number 7 position - but that still means that Kylie will climb, and therefore I don’t think BMG will get involved.

I think Kylie is pulling enough ahead of Rema that Rema can’t catch up now.

Hannah Laing is currently a long way behind Kylie, but depending on how their momentum develops, could possibly catch up. That said, she only caught up with Kylie by 15 sales yesterday.

So I’m going to go for 7 or 8 - but leaning towards 8. Tomorrow’s data will give us a better indication.

Great stats from everyone.

The fact a 2023 Kylie single is looking like having a chart run of 26-23-12-9-7/8 is incredible!

Prayer circle for Padam Padam to end up at #7! I want this to out-peak Higher, not equal it :coffee: !

‘Prayer Circle’ aka ‘download it again’ 😁

Yes please :w00t:

*Bumps the "Chart Campaign: Kylie Minogue 'Padam Padam' - Top 10!" thread and renames it "Chart Campaign: Kylie Minogue 'Padam Padam' - #7!" *

Depending on what the midweeks look like tomorrow I could be persuaded into a couple of downloads!
