90s star Brandy is the first out this time round with her cover of the Phil Collins classic 'Another Day In Paradise' and peaked at 5 in 2001. It was released also as an album tribute to Phil with others who featured on that album including Lil Kim doing 'In The Air Tonight' :mellow: AND Dane Bowers!!

going for Vengaboys now, they had a couple of classiques but Shalala was not one of them

There’s a Vengaboys song in there that isn’t even one of the fun ones and people of voting for JEM.

 

 

I don’t mind the Vengaboys track either, it’s the closest we came to having Bavarian style schlager in the charts here, maybe along with Hey Baby and Country Roads the following year. It’s not a big fave but it’s a pleasant listen that was unlike anything else out at the time with its very traditional Germanic feel.
