A man who provocatively named himself after an infamous murderer that did shocking things to people when I was a kid (and who effectively killed off the hippy ideal I supported), purely to get headlines and fame and then incidentally covered a classic cover was never going to get any support from me in a popularity contest. As if nicking the Alice-Cooper-cloned imagery and making it nastier wasnt enough, delightful stage routines involving naked women pinned to crosses, children in cages and bits of dead animals as props somehow failed to give the idea that maybe as a role model Manson left something to be desired, never mind his many court cases and many successful relationships with women.

 

Tainted Love pretty much then till it's gone.

Blergh what a poor list.

 

Don't remember the J-Lo song at all so it obviously didn't leave much of an impression so that gets my vote.
