for what song? they have like 7 oldies all top 50 on Spotify, they cannot reset them all

nice to see Taylor so close to top 10, there's hope

It’s very clear to me that Arctic Monkeys’ label have no interest in resetting songs, otherwise 505 and I Wanna Be Yours would have 100% already been granted them last year

I'm actually howling at the suggestion that Leigh-Anne is only flopping because she dropped her surname from the release.

Yes, but at the same time it doesn't exactly stand out! In fact when I first heard the name I assumed it was someone copying Leanne Rimes!!

Looks like Elton will beat The *Good* ₩Itch :(

Mm well at least it will be top 40, but she needs to start doing morw promo here if dhe wants hita. Maybe even a video?! Did we even get a video?!

KELLY! :(

I had a horrible feeling this would happen GAH!

I was expecting worse!

Although either way I can still see it being something like #39 on Friday. What a week they chose here!

Girls Aloud were #21 at the same point in the mids last week and ended up just missing the top 40, so it's going to be close. I do hope that was more because it was a special release as opposed to a general one (that didn't stop Janelle doing a similar thing a couple of weeks ago). She won't be doing videos for this era and her show in the US restricts her from being able to take time out to promote over here. As to why they couldn't do the bare minimum and send a song to radio... I really don't know.

It's infuriating. She keeps saying (and has done even before the press junkets this week) that she doesn't care about the charts anymore and whilst I believe her, it's still sad to see her struggling even in a low sales climate :(
No radio play, no video, no promo, and we don't rven grt thr KC Show in Europe, so I think wr should be amazed it's even doing as well as it is! Must be purely fanbase buys and streams.
I think Calvin is heading for DCL-2. If he does, I hope he gets another decline next week

Well they probably could if they wanted to. Obviously a very different scenario but Tina Turner had 3 manual resets at once.

Stephen Sanchez should go top 10 on Friday when the reset takes affect but I hope Peggy doesn’t miss the top 10. I wouldn’t mind if Taylor misses the top 10

I doubt it tbh, #34 on ACR isn’t high enough to be top 10 on SCR and it’s fallen a bit on Spotify today

It actually might be sometimes tbf ('Eyes Closed' dropped 8-40 when it went to ACR for example) although yeah probably not with Stephen since he has disproportionately high pure sales. Still think he should have a good chance to get a new peak but probably not top 10.

Unless the update today is still missing a large chunk of pure sales for Elton I think Maisie still has a good chance of hanging onto #1 - he's only closed the gap by 2.8k in 2 days, continuing at that rate and accounting for the missing day of streams he'd be on track to finish about 1.1k behind, and he may not even keep catching up at that rate since this update now covers the peak day of his streaming boost. (always the chance Maisie will have a sales dump still to come as well ofc)
