So Kylie will be heading for her 10th week top 40 this week but where it will be, how do you think things will go this week?

I think it'll remain at a similar position or maybe drop a couple, competition is fierce and I assume the two Barbie related tracks at least will jump ahead. All that matters though is avoiding ACR!

Not sure if a new remix is coming out but I'd think it wouldn't be enough to avoid ACR tbh. Drop to 17 this week I'd say.

I think she’s going to have a really good start to the week in First Look and be back at #10, expecting it to be Top 15 by Friday though.

Hopefully a small climb alongside avoiding ACR.

I think they may have a few edits up their sleeve to help this week.

 

The HAAi remix started well today.

I think it'll climb a spot and we'll get different edits, not new remixes and no I don't think we'll avoid ACR.

It's gonna be nail-biting watching these streaming updates during the week, I guess by about Tuesday we'll get a clearer picture.

Any news on Streaming and how many streams it needs this week ?How will we find out it is going into ACR?

I doubt we will know until sales are revealed on Friday.

I’m going to be positive and go for a climb to 12. Another top 20 week is looking highly likely.

Platinum by the end of the year is practically impossible. Will reach it in Q1/2024 though.

Yeah Platinum is too much of a stretch in 2023. Padam Padam would have to sell on average 17,947 copies per week for the next 23 weeks to pass 600,000 by 29th December 2023, but with it already down to 18,830 last week, it's highly unlikely for it to remain that consistent. I think Padam Padam would have needed a few more weeks of consistently selling 25k+ for that to have been remotely possible, but it started declining too soon.

 

Gold (400k+) = 9,252 sales per week on average for the rest of the year

500,000+ = 13,600 sales per week

 

I think it should be safe for Gold at least, not sure about 500k.

 

 

 

As for this week I predict #15!

I'm thinking 520k by the end of year and platinum in March.

Once it happens I'm happy to wait for it to go platinum.

It will drop to around 17 and probably it's last week in the top 40 region of the chart.

At least we've got a nice round 10 weeks with it being gifted an extra week, if it does succumb. Silver linings and all that.

Padam padam has really added such excitement to this campaign and its the best start to a kylie campaign for years.
