pretty dead week for new releases

really hoping Billie finally gets ahead of Dave/CC

I have a Spotify question & I'm not sure where else to put it sorry.

 

Can I import songs from my laptop/iTunes into my Spotify playlists?

 

Asking as I have some in my iTunes library but as they're not on streaming I can't listen to them on Spotify.

there is a way to upload local files to spotify: https://support.spotify.com/us/article/local-files/ this link shows how to do it!

'Sprinter' making it 63 days at #1 which ties 'drivers license' (having already tied then surpassed 'Love Yourself' and 'Despacito' in the last 2 days). Doesn't look like anything released this week is likely to challenge it so a good chance it gets 7 extra days to tie 'Blinding Lights'. It'll tie 'Uptown Funk' tomorrow and 'ROCKSTAR' 3 days later assuming it continues at #1. Not so sure Billie is going to overtake now, the gap is bigger than it was this time last week.
Yeah it’s looking like 10 consecutive weeks at #1 for sprinter with only ACR knocking it off (and I imagine it will stay top 10 for at least a couple weeks while on ACR too)

I don't think it's likely to overtake 'Flowers'.

 

10th week at #1 officially looks very likely, what to keep an eye on is if it can pull off an increase this week to extend that run further... (though that looks unlikely currently, its Spotify numbers today are down 50k from the same day last week).

Very little chance of Sprinter overtaking Flowers by the end of the year even if it turns out to be bigger than Flowers in the long run. I think it will probably be Year End #2 the way it’s going though.

Other than that, every thing else is pretty static/swapping places with songs above/below etc.. pretty boring chart today.

KitschKrieg - Trenchezzz (with Nemzzz) is a new entry. I quite like it. It isn't showing up on the top 200 of Apple Music/Spotify yet, but being top 20 on the youtube chart could indicate it may start picking up some steam elsewhere and potentially become a hit?

No new releases at all in the Apple top 200 yet. Looks like playlisting is kicking in for Issey Cross and Jazzy though (big climb to 36 and new at 95 respectively).
