(Doing a Dobbo here with a survivor thread in under 24 hours but considering the landslide...)

No hesistating on the loser here as Missy Elliot got her marching orders with 'Get Ur Freak On', Missy's first solo top 10 hit over here peaking at #4 and relying on a lot of bhangra elements which is Punjab of South Asia's popular dance and music form featuring a six note base which is played on a tumbi and the bassline and rhythm played on a Tabla.

Brilliant final  both songs were in my top 40 chart hits of the decade! I Predict A Riot is awesome, but Hey Ya is awesomer.
Like both but Kaiser Chiefs has endured for me. I kind of went off Hey Ya
Hey Ya! for me, as overplayed as it is, I always remember how fresh it sounded at the time.
Kaiser Chiefs by a mile
Pleasantly surprised by how close this is as I thought Outkast would clean up but I went for Kaiser Chiefs, much better song.

This is very much “song you’d hear ladz go mad to at a stag do” vs “song you’d hear ladies go mad to a hen do”.

And I stand with the ladies, for sure, Hey Ya easily.

Missy deserved :(
