Fascinating to see Monster Mash at Number 5 in this morning's Spotify Chart. Meanwhile "Slut" has dropped out of the Top 10.

A. Why? It was halloween if not today when you'll see it?!

B. Slut! isn't the single anymore so don't be surprised, thanks.

omg!!! Wowwww.

Mad numbers, and physcicals?! so early on?!

I'm just so fascinated by Taylor and these re-records. It's history!

Also this is a 10 year old album?! It's just insane.

Noone else can do this. Unreal

I think you're being a bit overly defensive there, he didn't say he was surprised about 'Monster Mash', just fascinated, and he was just stating fact about Taylor!

I was actually disappointed Monster Mash only made it to #5, even lower when you combine others like Ghostbusters or Thriller,

considering the crazy playlist support, if something I'd say it's under-performed

I really don't see how you can say it's underperformed when this is by far the highest it's ever got on Spotify... (its peak before this year was #27)

And regarding '"Slut!"', 'Now That We Don't Talk' is also not the single and that's still as high as #4. It's pretty noteworthy that the hype died off much quicker for that than the other vault tracks.

I'm not surprised by 'Slut!' performance at all. It's gone pretty much as I expected. I am surprised that 'Say Don't Go' (although doing well) isn't doing better as that seems to be a big favourite! 'Is It Over Now?' looking likely in managing to get to number 1 officially is such a great surprise to me. It's my 2nd favourite '1989' Vault Track. 'Now That We Don't Talk' is getting traction slowly too. 'Suburban Legends' seems to be very middling reactions (people like it but don't love nor particularly dislike it)

Cuz it's the weaker song anyway, so no surprises here.

Would be very interesting to see the First Look #1 not even end up in the chart - I presume that has never happened?!

yeah that would be very strange! i do hope slut manages to hold on this week, just cos that would be very iconic

Is it possible Britney Spears the singles collection could reach a new peak this week?
I think Adele could be set for rather diminishing returns with future releases.

Adele is over, and 30 proved that. Her next album, 35 Spells Flirty Vibes, will be a no.2 hit only.

OMD on 15K is also incredible

looks like Taylor will do around 180K, incredible!

28 Daniel O'Donnell - How Lucky I Must Be *

Droped 10 places since Monday. Hope he can remain within the Top 40 by Friday.

Now £7.99 on iTunes.

Daniel does (probably) need to hang on this week to continue his unbroken run since 1991 of having at least one new top 40 album per year, no pressure...
With OMD on 15k sales, they would’ve got their first #1 album if it weren’t for Taylor and Midnights did 173,623 at this point which is more than 1989 TV and it looks like Kenya could be heading for DCL-3 on Friday which means that if the Taylor songs start declining next week, Prada could take #1

Bristolmans not making his customary reappearance this week tbh </3
