Congrats to Fljotavik! A great, epic dance track which did sound like something that would do really well. Danaeviia coming as high as 2nd is wonderful, great to see post rock has a real audience now, only so much longer until the first winner surely x That's a pretty great top 10 with a few of my commiserations and excellent to see POPHub and Botanikka up there too.

I think my 11 from Botanikka went to Spod by mistake again  assuming that I'm around 15th, I'm very happy with that, it's about on par with the predictions and great to see so many votes for a dark, neo-classical track. Cannot recommend Rico Label and films and their other projects enough if you really like these <3

Some serious injustices in that lower half of the scoreboard though, poor Bronzil, Cadelicia and Beaverdonia </3

You did a great job Harve, this was very fun to follow, sorry for being a pain!

I was CONSTANTLY annoyed that 'The Spodic Empire' didn't come under S when sorting alphabetically and maybe that's why I've given them your points because you are sandwiched between "S" and "The" alphabetically.

Hopefully Thelonia's and Suedeonia's are correct.

Fixed now, I'll post a final scoreboard when Bré has told me what else is wrong.

20th in SF2 is no surprise, but naturally to end up on 60 points several of those SF votes had to have shrunk or disappeared. Looks like a spectacular collapse between two stools, not that DnB has the best track record in this contest's recent history anyway, but the idea of simultaneously tapping into the wackiness of those songs which opened SF2 in BJSC 157 (in which I'd DNQed days before finding this song) fell flat. Still it was fun to qualify with, and now I have a wooden spoon to add to the cabinet alongside the MRD bronze!

Thank you Harve for hosting, it was an entertaining final to follow, but you kept it going and genuinely you did an excellent job!

Congratulations Dandy, your song was just outside my top 15.

Thanks to everyone who gave some points to Gaza and to Harve for hosting a rollercoaster of a final.

Thanks Cadelicia for the votes at the end! Congrats on the win Fljotavik, loved the song and overall a very solid top 10. Would've been nice to see Rolloland, Kathaldazia and Taahino higher though. Thanks for hosting Harve, it's been a fun contest!

Aelandor omg thank you!!!!
Loved it, happy to see you top 10.

Good to see Séyetana with a solid top 20 finish too.

Congrats to Fljótavík, on the edge on my votes, great song!

So yes, 3 of my top 5 finishing in the overall top 5 indeed (albeit only because of FARC's deduction but shhh) - great to see a post-rock song coming so close to winning, a good year for the genre after We Lost The Sea also going top 10. I really would have loved to see 'Euforija' winning as it's such a massive standout for me, just a gift that keeps giving and somehow gets better and better with every passing minute of its runtime, and as Rich pointed out a really inspired entry too with it being in a rather uncommon language (Lithuanian as far as I can tell) and having such a low stream count, I would love to know how Leo came across this song! But 3rd is still great and I suppose it's fitting to have the same result as a similarly standout foreign language Quintessan entry before in 'Europa' (almost the same title even haha). And fantastic to see r new alt kween giving Neliönoir a first top 5 result *.*

Also what a result for POPHub, a really lovely song but not one that I had considered as a likely hit - if anything I thought it might be overshadowed by Terra Avium's entry in a similar-ish style (although still a decent enough result for them too). And happy to see Hendinia and Bøtanikkä top 10 too though I didn't have room for them in my votes + Minnie Riperton going top 10 is low key iconic as well, it was definitely quite a standout for an early 70s pick so I can see why it resonated so much, it was just outside my commiserations myself but I had to stop somewhere! Would have been nice to have Baby Storme sneak in as well both for it being a great song and to calm Cody's dramatics a bit but alas x

Fab to see a first top 20 for Abeltesfayeton too. A bunch of songs I voted for lining up just outside the top 25 (minus Baby Queen, I voted for all of the others in the 26-32 range) - I sensed my late blooming stanning of Taahino being a slight hot take but still kinda sad that didn't do better and also RIP to Kathaldazia's top 10 streak, not that it wasn't widely predicted </3 shame that The Spodic Empire dropped off a fair bit from the early success as well but yay not bottom 10 at least. And then Cadelicia and especially Beaverdonia were really just done dirty here! + Skall as well even though they got squeezed out of my own votes at the last minute so I didn't help

 to Bronzil for a well deserved new lowest points of the year :cheer: :kink: (at least it'll be a memorable one! and it's 43 more points than I got in the semi)

Thanks Harve for the hosting, was fun to watch the chaos unfold tonight, I suppose being on the sidelines had its benefits this time x

I am learning my lesson from this month and being much better organised for the last contest of the year as I have an entry lined up already, it's about time I send another post-punk song.

Erm, I think I was just going down a YouTube rabbit hole for an hour or two before I stumbled on it. Glad you liked it anywhoo

YAY for Dandy! Don't feel like I often wind up stanning a Fljotavik entry so I'm happy that this was the one to win. Definitely my favourite of the top 5!

Happy with 6th after the Pop Forum results last week had me doubting the hype altogether, but in a very strong contest that ended up being very close, I'll take that. Not a single 18 is interesting for a song that finished so high, but thank you to Rich, Doctor Blind and Leww for the 15s. Not necessarily the usual nations I expect to see, so that's always nice to appeal to some different people. And a 5th top 10 of the year is great aswell, ensures I've had a better year this year than last <3

Tonight was very frantic but so much fun, very glad you were able to host Harve!

Congrats dandy*! 'Aria' missed out on my points but still earns my respect for surviving that bloodbath of results and coming out on top!

Most of the top 10 was not to my taste but I'm very glad to see Ana Mena and Minnie Riperton among them, and my 18 (Chappell Roan) would've made it pre-deduction. Excited to see Séyetana and New Lexico top 20. Suedeonia on the other hand was robbed x

Thanks Ramrynia and New Lexico for the 18s! Honestly I did hope for top 20 but 25th still well exceeded my expectations in the months that I kept putting off sending it. Hope I can send another pop gem next month.

Thanks Harve for hosting, I enjoyed the constant turnover as much as everyone else, the mistakes were easily fixed and you did a fine job overall.

Congrats Dandy!!!!

And massive thanks to Harve for probably the rollercoaster of the year. V entertaining, if a little anxiety inducing at times

Top 15 and over 200pts for Molly, I’ll gladly take that! Thanks everyone who voted for us, we appreciate you

Congrats Dandy, been a while that my 18 has won (I think).

Are we getting spreadsheets soon? Interested to see how I did in the semi. ^_^

They're on the previous page - here they are again, so as to be on the same page as the final scoreboard:

Semis and final tables here.

Yay 'grats dandy! Fantastic entry but still surprised to see it win :cheer:

Pretty strong top 10 on the whole! Pria bottom 10 is an absolute no-no however...

Can't be aggrieved at all at my performance, will take a surprise top half finish any day

A big hand to Harve for hosting this contest.

Thanks Harve for the exciting and entertaining hosting! Congrats dandy a worthy winner, a great entry and one I have already downloaded, so there's a sale of one  Lots of faves doing well too which is nice to see, and Two Door Cinema Club were only 3 points short of the final I think so that's not too bad considering semi 1 9th ended up 2nd overall (it just the final votes from me but picked up loads of others, so that worked out well).

at the moment thinking half a century old longsongblock that nobody I've played it to likes, and as they are all obviously blind to it's actual genius I'm entering it here with zero expectations as I like to be unpredictable  It'll either come last in the semi with nothing or win... :teresa:
