I've found that there's at least 10 formats. Granted it's not Kylie levels of formats, but it's still quite a lot:

1. Vinyl - Black

2. Vinyl - Cream

3. CD - Standard

4. CD - Standard - Amazon Exclusive Slipcase, with alternative artwork, signed

5. CD - HMV Exclusive, with bonus track

6. CD - Book

7. CD - Magazine

8. Cassette - Gary

9. Cassette - Howard

10. Cassette - Mark

(Some are available with signed art cards)

My bad, i havnt taken as much interest in their new album as much as i would normally do as i wasn't really into the singles they had released so i missed that so many formats were released, also by looking on Golden Discs where i buy most of my stuff in Ireland only one cd version and vinyl was on offer.

I was waaayyyyy off with Take That, I had them down as doing about 40K all week ooops
TT wow still shifting that many !!
So it looks like Wham and Mariah will # 2 and # 3 in Friday's chart. :puke:
Not sure why Ocean Alley don't seem to have got a reset though (surely they did have way more than a 25% stream increase last week).

Maybe someone can correct me (WITH DATA) if I'm wrong, but I feel like when it comes to a lot of these resets, they seem to always be in or around the top 50 (ie Ye, Wheatus, GNR, Radiohead etc). Maybe it's just that I pay more attention to that half of the chart but I can't think of any similar instances lower down. So maybe they just weren't high enough last week.

impressed at Take That, the reception of the singles was so unenthusiastic that I thought they'd do 50K tops :D

I don't think there's any wording in the OCC's rules that would indicate that being a requirement (and I'm not sure it would have been outside the top 50 anyway, its Spotify streams for the week were only about 10% less than those of 'Runaway'! crudely applying the same ratio to the overall chart sales it would be on ~8.3k for the week which would be a few hundred ahead of #50, but obviously massive pinch of salt there as other platforms exist etc. and Ocean Alley's numbers may be distorted more by the Thursday stream estimates since it only started blowing up midweek) - although I can't immediately think of any such automatic resets outside the top 50 either.

Yeah I didn't think there was any such rule either which is why I find all of these accumulating situations so odd! If anything it feels like there's a level requirement with ACR before it gets noticed (and it just so happens to be around the top 50 mark). If it all really was automatic and unbiased, you'd think there would be resets in the bottom end of the chart from things we don't manage to see charting on Spotify every week. I can understand some might find a reset to re-enter at like #90 pointless, but that doesn't seem like an implied rationale.

What happened to ROCKSTAR by DOLLY PARTON?

Not even in the Top 100 albums update chart.

As much as Dolly is a beloved personality let's be real, very few people are interested in her music, particularly new music.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if they’re just doing it when they notice as you say, and agree if they weren’t there’d probably be loads appearing in the bottom part of the chart.

I guess that might well be the case. But you'd think this is the kind of thing that would be pretty easy to automate
Pogues only 10th biggest Chrissie hit! I know it may over take the odd song but what a change from 5 years ago say. And still love it despite that word.
Just realised Friday is 1/12 so the Christmas songs are likely to have a very good week next week. I wonder if Wham! will already push Jack Harlow close or even beat him. Then the Christmas songs could even fall a bit in the following week before consolidating in the Christmas chart. And in the post Christmas chart they’ll annihilate everything of course.

By way of comparison next week in 2022 Wham and Mariah were top 10 on 24k and 26k respectively.

Take That!!! What on actual earth! Really good album but very middle of the road.

Came to say the same. I always love a good Gary Barlow album so, I'm super happy at those sales. But like you said, very MOR!

For the last couple of years Mariah has usually been a head of Wham in the early weeks with Wham taking the lead in the later weeks, as Wham have been ahead this year im hoping its the reversal of the last couple of years and Mariah takes the lead in the weeks ahead. Im not a big last Christmas fan but i have to admit i do like it far more now than i used to but still prefer all i want for Christmas is you by a long mile.

Another Tina Turner greatest hits album? Jeez.
