maybe Xmas songs peak this week and people are not that interested for the rest of the month anymore... there's hope :D

Got little routine now do Spotify morning Apple Music night expecting Christmas songs drop bit week days

Bloody Spotify for some reason choosing to push that atrocious Madonna version of 'Santa Baby' instead this year <_<

I think it's more or less the same across the board with the odd change for people (one or two songs being higher up - although which ones seems to have little rhyme or reason to it).

 

I also have Brenda 1, Laufey 8, yet Wizzard, which I listen to most, isn't even on the 100 song playlist. So yes, agreed, definitely the order might be a little different but we all get the same 100 songs.

You didn’t give enough positions to tell haha, but I also have Brenda at #1, Taylor quite high and Laufey at #8 - so they might be the same for everyone.

I hope Madonna’s Santa Baby can chart this year, how amazing would that be for her to have three new chart entries in 2023!

 

Also I hate that Destiny’s Child’s Christmas songs have seemingly been totally forgotten. 8 Days of Christmas used to get a lot of play on music channels, if only Spotify ever put it on their playlists

They really ought to make a UK artists only Christmas playlist. I think that must be why the likes of Darkness and Greg are always so low all the time. Would at least be a bit better to hear different ones make the top 40 in place of ones that make it every year practically.

Check out the Christmas Crackers playlist on Spotify, it's far more UK-centric and usually my go to.

There are more UK centric playlists, it just seems that the 'default' / most visible one(s) are more American.
