December 10, 20232 yr What’s the expectations for the album chart this week? Is Nicki a lock for #1 or do the Killers have a shout?
December 10, 20232 yr I think it’ll most likely be Bublé, with The Killers having an outside shot. It’s hard to tell what their sales will be like, it wasn’t announced that long ago. I assume the Direct Hits streaming sales (well, some of them anyway as some DH tracks aren’t there) will get moved to this album?
December 10, 20232 yr I don't think Nicki will be particularly close to #1 tbh - her last album in 2018 only did just over 10k first week, I can't see this one doing much better than that, it's hardly dominating on streaming and the physical edition only contains 10 of its 22 songs lol. I imagine it'll be The Killers. Won't sell as well as their studio albums obviously but surely they have enough of a dedicated fanbase to pretty easily shift the 15k or so they'll need.

Hope Tate is top 5!
December 10, 20232 yr I imagine The Killers are safe for #1, they surely still have a relatively strong fanbase. Dreading a scenario where Fred Again would have done enough for the top 10 without Christmas songs and misses out for good. :(
December 10, 20232 yr On a somewhat related note, I'm always surprised that none of The Killers Christmas songs reappear in the top 100.
December 10, 20232 yr On a somewhat related note, I'm always surprised that none of The Killers Christmas songs reappear in the top 100. Most of them weren’t even on streaming until a couple of years ago! I’m not too surprised though, none of them are particularly traditional-sounding Christmas songs. Lots of them are quite good though.

December 10, 20232 yr I thought Kylie-Extension would be favourite for #1 in albums, there are million of colour variants and would only need 15K
December 10, 20232 yr I’m hoping Nicki does well this week! :cheer: Edited December 10, 20232 yr by SineFromAbove

December 10, 20232 yr The similar extended versions of her Disco album didn’t trouble the top so I don’t see why this would be different.
