May 23May 23 I have looked at the UK charts for the first time in years and shocked to see at least half consists of old songs (e.g. Michael Jackson, Chemical Brothers, Katy Perry). I like nostalgia as much as the next guy but this is ridiculous. It feels like artists are running out of fresh material.Even radio stations are mostly playing old songs now. July 12Jul 12 Obviously I would love to see a revival for this, but I don’t see it happening past the immediate tour effect. I was over the moon to see it pass one million in sales consumption this week though, I wouldn’t have thought it was anywhere near so that was such a lovely surprise
July 17Jul 17 Belated post for 'Waka Waka' returning amongst the Football songs! Bittersweet for Shakira with the other one 'Dai Dai' going top 5, her first top 5 since 'She Wolf' in 09 while this doesn't get a new peak sadly.
