January 15, 20242 yr Noah is up quite a bit from his Monday numbers last week! (Ari and Sophie are both also decently higher than Noah was this time last week). Jack is actually also up a couple thousand, so not sure if this is a better sales week across the board or last week had more missing data than usual on Monday. Jack's Spotify numbers are about the same as they were this time last week.
January 15, 20242 yr How is Black Friday back in the top 40 a week early? I was expecting it next week with the album effect He performed it on Graham Norton on Friday.
January 15, 20242 yr Well they still kind of are slowly fading out, they just finally picked a quiet enough week to possibly get to #1 (and even then only via aggressive bundling apparently). The singles have done worse than ever this era. They only added 1,112 units yesterday (barely more than The Vaccines who added 851).
January 15, 20242 yr Not really. The target group of Levis wasnt the 10-16 yrs olds stuck with a phone in their hands all day! The way tik tok is... The point was more the fact it brings old songs into the chart like the old days!
January 15, 20242 yr Not flop, and? only going in at #2. It’s Flopdini all over again. She will probably crash down to #18 in week 2 like a 2005 McFly oh GOODNESS GRACIOUS as the geriatric would say.
January 15, 20242 yr Great that Sophie is in touching distance of #2 at the moment. Hopefully she’ll end up there by weeks end.
January 15, 20242 yr DBE on 6k physicals? Didn’t think DBE fans bought their musicThey had/have a couple of HMV signings! They did Nottingham the other day, at least.
January 15, 20242 yr I'm surprised a Nathan Evans track is randomly taking off three years after his one novelty hit. It's not even that good.
January 15, 20242 yr I hope that someone can prevent D Block Europe going number 1 in the albums but think its unlikely.
January 16, 20242 yr I also hope not - fingers crossed 'Surround Sound' will get back in by Friday so he'll have 4
January 16, 20242 yr 21 Savage's album is pretty good and nice to have several new entries this week.
January 16, 20242 yr I was looking at the official chart post and they mention that Noah was less than 2k behind Ariana on the first look and the next day he was 200 ahead so he’s gaining 2k roughly per day on her. I’d say around 11k by the end of the week. When you factor in psychical and multiple versions in iTunes lyric videos etc I see him getting #1 by 4-6k probably she edges out Sophie to #2 with these multiple versions and extended mixes and whatever else her fans are buying to inflate numbers.
January 17, 20242 yr OCC fan girling for NatBed gives us these positions:Â 19 D Block Europe 20 Natasha Bedingfield 21 ZaraLarsson
January 17, 20242 yr Ariana Grande has jumped to No.1 this week with Yes, And?, which has accumulated 43,447 sales so far ahead of Noah Kahan’s Stick Season, which competes for the top spot at 42,761 sales.  In third place sits Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Murder On The Dancefloor (34,358 sales), whilst Jack Harlow’s Lovin On Me (24,285 sales) and Teddy Swims’ Lose Control (19,225 sales) round off the Top 5.  In the albums chart, D-Block Europe are leading the way with Rolling Stone, which has accumulated 13,282 sales so far. The record has 8,464 sales from its physical release, 4,640 sales from streams and 178 from downloads.  Following behind in second place is 21 Savage’s American Dream (8,010 sales), whilst The Vaccines’ Pick-Up Full Of Pink Carnations (7,249 sales), The Weeknd’s The Highlights (4,550 sales) and Kahan’s Stick Season (4,467 sales) complete the Top 5.   Source: MW
January 17, 20242 yr Pull through Ari :cheeseblock: (that may just be the effect of physicals being lumped on though so still could easily fall back behind, but good that she's staying in with a fighting chance and definitely looking set for #2 minimum now). Noah is still up a good amount week on week (nearly 5k higher than he was on Wednesday last week so probably pushing for 70k+ for the week overall) and Jack is still up a little bit too though not as much as he was from Monday to Monday. DBE must have added more solid pure sales as they've increased the gap over 21 Savage despite the streaming deficit. Sigh.
