Love seeing Noah’s tracks rising up the chart still, I hope Dial Drunk can eventually take off it’s my favourite off the album. Crazy to see two 00s hits in the top 10, makes you wonder what other gem from the 00s will have a second wind next.

Songs being reset due to renewed exposure is perfectly fine by me. It’s basically the modern version of a re release due to being used on a Levi Ad like they used to in the 1980s.

 

I get the points about HHs being dominant but I guess that’s similar to being promoted a lot in record stores back in the day the biggest singles always would take centre stage and then perhaps gain traction at radio follow that?

Same, his streams seem to be up again despite the physical release this week which is great to see. It’ll be interesting to see if with the three tracks now doing so well his weekly album sales increase decently too.

We're in a time now where the early-mid 00's are benefiting from "nostalgia" and those who were children of the 00's are in Uni etc.. and probably at their peak phase of getting swept by nostalgia and seeing that era of music being referred to in movies, TV shows etc..

'Dial Drunk' was already a hit before 'Stick Season'! (Unless you just mean taking off more, but I'd be surprised if that happens, its push has been and gone)

I think it could probably have another wind if they pushed it after the success of Stick Season, but clearly they are going to do the Sam Fender collab next. Dial Drunk did really well in the US, so I think it didn't reach its full potential in the UK.

 

And I find it funny that the ONE song Noah Kahan hasn't done a duet of is his biggest hit (so far, but maybe forever because topping Stick Season's success will be a big challenge).

apparently Noah is trying to get Olivia Rodrigo to duet with him for Stick Season but it’s been tough to get her in the recording studio for it with her busy schedule. I suspect it’ll eventually happen once the song is in contention for number one in USA (or they’ve already recorded it and are just waiting now)

I was late high school early uni when the songs weee released. So for me and I presume most people around my age it’s like a trip down memory lane to when we were 16-20 years old.

Yeah I meant more it getting a second wind so to speak as it’s been climbing up gradually for a few weeks now. I doubt it would get a new peak unless they reset it (which I doubt it).

Nice to see the Last Dinner Party climbing. If it keeps climbing the rate it is at the moment, it could go top 40 next week but if not next week, then definitely the week after thanks to the album
