In 2002 Madonna took on the task of recording the next James Bond film soundtrack 'Die Another Day' which the song was also called Die Another Day. It charted over here at 3 being hold off at the time by the massive hits in 'Heaven' and 'Dilemma'. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer had approached the idea of wanting a bigger artist to record it and so that's where Madonna came in as the last previous Bond theme was by Garbage in 1999 and that just missed the top 10. It most recently came 39th in the Ultimate Madonna songs that Radio 2 compiled!
