Who has the Amazon music list haven’t seen that in awhile it’d be interesting to see what that looks like

Praise Jah In The Moonlight feels like one to watch with climbs like it's having??

First proper reggae smash I've heard in a long time. I wonder if it will lead to the floodgates opening for the genre.

I'd be here for a little reggae revival!

Could certainly see some Bob Marley back in the chart with the biopic film out soon. Interesting to see if more artists pick up the reggae influence again.

Noah is on UMG, so his music is not on Tiktok right now. Boone is on Warner and not affected. Interesting times.

Id attribute Noah’s decline to the fact it’s been #1 for 5 weeks, hit some massive numbers, had physicals released, been hammered on the radio and he’s released multiple tracks in the last few weeks than down to TikTok, the fall was going to come at some point and it feels natural now.

His UK tour starts next week so could get a boost then too.

Yeah, with that I don't think it'll go to ACR anytime soon.

I don’t really see how it avoids going ACR? It’ll be two weeks declining this week so just one more week? Seems inevitable

Surely his tour will only have a big effect if he gets viral Tik Tok videos? He doesn't strike me as the type of artist people will go crazy over to either live stream or even post about how "exciting" his tour is etc...?

That’s a good point!

When reggae does well it’s excels!

I’d imagine Noah is just decreasing from the high bar of the last month or so, be interesting to see if it evens out and avoids acr or not. Would like the next no1 to get there by popularity and not default though. And even if Stick Season does hit acr it’ll more than likely be top 10 anyway!

Wow Ariana only at 10 now!!

Id say a lot of his fanbase are not swayed by TikTok - certainly the platform can help push a song above and beyond but a 30 second clip of anyone on tour is not something to make a song massive.

When tours happen for all artists there seems to be a natural increase in consumption as people stream the album etc., before a show.

Tours have huge streams effect

So acr avoidance confirmed

Not worried anymore

The difference is Noah is coming from such a high streaming place that a slight boost will only help offset the natural decline rather than become an upswing but I guess we shall see

I thought Kiko Bun was releasing some good stuff a few years ago, shame none of those translated into chart success, but I guess reggae is quite a niche genre in this country.

Yeh I enjoy Protoje last few albums but none have broken through to the mainstream!

There was a sort of revival in the mid 2010s. Magic! Rude and especially Omi - Cheerleader were kind of reggae. Also Milky Chance Stolen Dance was a bit reggae.

I loved 'Can't Hold Back' by Kiko Bun, it might have been Radio 1 A-listed.

I'd be here for a little reggae revival!

Perfect timing for Rihanna to release that damn reggae album she's been working on since 1884!!!

The success of this YG Marley song is quite fascinating, it's just a shame the song itself is so boring imo. Hope it might be a grower I suppose!
