They really were stupid not releasing the video at the same time and physicals.

I'm not sure how much difference the video would make/would have made tbf.

I don't think it'll go top 10 this week unless it adds significantly more physicals by the end of the week.

 

On the plus side it looks like it'll have decent longevity and won't drop out of the top 40 in its second week. It's moved up on HHUK, continues climbing on Amazon and is #11 on Apple Music. Looks good for her to perhaps even stay top 20 with the release of the music video next week even with triple Taylor. I believe Djo will be going on ACR as well so may drop behind her.

 

 

3 or 4 singles before the album, all different to each other.

 

It is heavily rumoured the next single is called

Rollercoaster

, she's been teasing it quite a bit.

Why so many singles before the album? Argh. I hate the music industry these days.

 

And it really is a shame this is going to miss the top ten too. :( Really had high hopes for her. Not a great start.

 

(Yes I know there's going to be other singles but let's face it, the debut single is always the biggest chance of a hit)

It looks like another member of Little Mix won't be setting the charts alight with solo hits.

I hugely welcome them all doing solo work but I think the path to them reuniting as a band will come quicker.

Shame this doesn't look likely to remain top 10. It's a lot stronger than 'Don't Say Love' is for me and I liked that to some degree too!

They’ve started shipping the CDs from the bundle!

It’ll be shocking if this debuts lower than Don’t Say Love somehow.

Debuts at 22 here in Ireland ;)

Music video very average I’m afraid.

 

I’m kind of expecting just to squeak the top 10 today at #10. The one more week in the charts next week at around #18-#23 and then out sadly.

Not bad, but unfortunate in a way as imo the best of the 3 debuts. She left it too long. I don't know what any of them were thinking really.

 

She'll be 3 down from where she'd otherwise be going forward too with the Taylor album bomb

I think the chart position is a reflection of the song quality.

 

There was alot of interest in Perrie’s debut and the Spotify debut was impressive but it’s kinda obvious people are bored of the song and haven’t added it to their playlists or got it on repeat.

 

She’s lucky she got a top ten at least but the next song really will be make or break for her.

A bit disappointed at the streaming numbers, because I honestly thought it's the kind of song the UK public would eat up, and it's Perrie, you know. But yes, despite it being cute and elevated by her vocals, I got bored after two or three listens.

Still, I think the streaming numbers are decent, so will likely hang around top 40 for a fair number of weeks.
