February 15, 20241 yr Love that a 2nd series has been commissioned, not sure I’ll be invested in IKAG but I’ll certainly give it some support as it’s great shows like this are being invested in for mainstream TV.

February 15, 20241 yr Don’t think I’ll be following this tbh. The first series was quite cheesy, somewhat predictable and didn’t exactly portray gay men in a positive light. Dannii looked amazing though and presented it well but it was just so superficial. Edited February 15, 20241 yr by neill2407
March 26, 20241 yr What has happened about this? No confirmed release date yet other than the ‘coming soon’ which they touted in February.
March 28, 20241 yr I didn’t watch it cause it stereotyped gay men to be all glittery and fabulous, which not all gay men are like that. I can see where Dannii is going with the show , and I applaud her, but she only focused on the camp side. It needs a proper mixture of gay men. The girl was does seem more interesting than the gay men version but.

Weird thing to talk about in a post against streotyping. Anyway i loved the boys series so bring on rhe girls one!

Besides there being zero credibility to your post since you supposedly didn't watch anyway, the rest of it just reeks of internalised homophobia because the show may have had contestants with camp/fem characteristics. :drama: This is exactly the type of thing that sets the community back in so many ways when you psycho-analyse and try to pick apart the representation that we do get (which was actually rather brilliant imo, the show didn't make a point of being overtly over the top and there was a good variety of personalities).
