Here we go with another round of insisting a song will be an easy #1 so we can call it a flop when it isn't :neyde:

340k isn't bad at all for Dua and what me and Addy were predicting. It's her 2nd biggest streaming debut behind Houdini

1. “Houdini” — 5.42M

2. “Training Season” — 4.29M

3. “Prisoner” — 4.02M

4. “Don’t Start Now” — 3.43M

5. “Un Día” — 3.17M

6. “Dance The Night” — 2.96M

7. “Potion” — 2.85M

8. “Physical” — 2.28M

9. “We’re Good” — 2.76M

10. “One Kiss” — 2.44M

With so much build up I was hoping and expecting Dua to debut a bit higher than that tbh

It’s an album filler song in my opinion. Little replay value. Very underwhelming single. Can’t see it growing either.

Beyoncé doing great but the song is catchy and one even non fans can listen to so I’m not that surprised just didn’t think it’d be so soon.

The yea and remix came in at only 64 sheesh

Beyonce should be an easy #1 this week then?
"This Djo person" is Joe Keery from Stranger Things, btw  really love the song, it's all over my TikTok too and the chorus feels very Sufjan Stevens (maybe just because he's talking about Chicago, would be here for TikTok to do something with the Sufjan song too x)

No new song managed to knock her off the top of iTunes yesterday. She’s top 2 on Apple Music. Top 7 on Amazon but rising everyday. Stable now on YouTube and getting huge highs on Spotify. Combined with the fact she’ll be trying to get a billboard #1 next week after being 2-7 this week there will be a lot of push and hype by her fans so definitely in the bag unless something drastic happens

Intrigued to see how Beyoncé holds up without NMF propping her up, but still a very impressive lead today!

Wow at Djo!! End of Beginning is insanely good, really here for it becoming a big hit.

On Spotify Hozier has been uncredited on Northern Attitude and the two versions have been combined with it up to #61.

Interestingly Dial Drunk is still showing up as just the Post Malone version so no idea why they’ve done that

think it's just cos it mentions Chicago, doesn't sound very Sufjan-esque to me

Dua is #8 but her streams are good, starting off with 350K is decent enough

I don’t think it helped her that much considering she was only about #8 on it

I don’t think it helped her that much considering she was only about #8 on it

She had a pretty significant uplift yesterday so I'd argue it did help quite a bit...! Not saying she's not soaring regardless.

Both versions of "yes, and?" equal to the #5 spot. However, with "Stick Season" on ACR as of this week, it's at #4.
Texas Hold ‘Em is a far better replacement #1 than it looked like we were going to get, stay ahead Bey!

That’s exactly what I expected for Training Season in all honesty.

She has physicals to count as well so I think Top 5 debut isn’t out of equation!!!

And most importantly, her record for most top 10 hits by UK female singer is getting extended to 15!!!

Beyoncé climbing quickly on Amazon now - up to #4 in the Prime chart (was #8 yesterday).

Good debut for Dua - she likely did close to or over 400k+ when you combine the other versions. I think with physicals she'll debut top 3 without difficulty, although I think Beyoncé will take the #1 this week!

Also Taylor has just started the Australian leg of her tour and has had a crazy effect on Spotify over there with Cruel Summer back to #1.

Yeah I’ve been keeping an eye on the Australian Spotify (as I think it’ll be similar to what we experience here) and it’s been pretty crazy!

Today she has 3 songs top 10 (CS at #1, lover! & anti hero), 11 songs top 25, 17 top 50, 36 top 100 and 49 top 200!! The slayage :cheeseblock: the entire setlist is charting + two repeat TV songs + one surprise song + three not on the setlist.

Also Cruel Summer up 30k week-on-week here on Friday, here for another week of it avoiding a decline!!

Queen Bey and her services to music - saving us from that HIDEOUS Benson song being #1 :cheeseblock:
