It's more a case of 'CARNIVAL' doing worse here than 'TEXAS HOLD 'EM' doing better. (And ofc 'CARNIVAL' isn't touching the Hot 100 #1 anyway as radio is not going to play it)

Interesting to see Texas Hold ‘Em dropping quite considerably behind Stick Season on Spoti today. It will nonetheless be safe for the official #1 for a while, and at least this week safe for the SCR #1.

 

I guess it’s more of a reflection of what a gargantuan hit Stick Season is than anything else - most #1s don’t maintain that level of streams for several months.

100% agree, she's losing a bit of steam also WW (US especially which is weird, that's the most US oriented song)

May have just been yeeted down the autoplay algorithm, the timing seems about right for that. It's still doing great numbers, not really anything to be concerned by.

she was sure getting autoplay, it did happened to me like all day every day last week, and always with music totally unrelated to Beyonce, so lots of negative points to Spotify... like you listen to some folk duo from Australia that no one knows, their playlist stops and boom next song is Beyonce, wtf? fits zero

and usually I love autoplay cos it mostly matches

^i agree usually the autoplay fits the vibe for me, though recently it starts randomly dropping in greedy by tate mcrae which, as much as i love the song, doesnt fit the stick season accoustic-folky sound im currently listening to :tearsmile: and ive also been getting beyonce. sure shes on my playlist but its way too often for my liking haha
