March 1, 20242 yr Jack saying Dua's performance at the Brits could be the thing that sends her worldwide successful on a stratospheric level, as if she hasn't had massive hits globally already :lol: Who even watches the Brits in this country, let alone elsewhere?! :lol: The Adele massive dmash performance was a one off thing, ans all about the song connecting and her having a MASSIVE, era defining voice.
March 1, 20242 yr I wonder if Radio 1 will ever play 'CARNIVAL', looks like it's not going anywhere any time soon. They did play 'BURN' so they're clearly not 100% snubbing Kanye forever. I'm cautious about rooting for Kanye continuing to have hits but 'CARNIVAL' is a good song. Playboi Carti waits years for a top 10 hit then gets two in the span of a few weeks! Cool to see Rich The Kid with a top 10 to his name now as well I suppose, he's very inconsistent for me but can make bangers when he wants to, he has a good verse on this song. Ngl I totally forgot he was featured on 'Ring Ring', was thinking 'Plug Walk' was his only previous UK hit :lol: ('New Freezer' w/ Kendrick Lamar should have been big too). Was expecting a much bigger 2nd week drop for Dua ngl, glad she's holding up fairly ok so far, another good song from her if still not quite to the standard of the best songs from the last 2 albums.
