Done some number crunching again and 'COWBOY CARTER' has held up better on day 2 than 'RENAISSANCE' - the number of streams that will count to the OCC chart (i.e. the top 16 tracks with the top 2 weighted down) has dropped 31.0% compared to a 39.2% drop for 'RENAISSANCE' :magic:

Day 1:

3,435,744 RENAISSANCE

4,277,435 COWBOY CARTER

Day 2:

2,088,717 RENAISSANCE

2,952,639 COWBOY CARTER

From this very crude calculation I think it should have a good chance of doing 25k+ in streaming units for its first week.

Renaissance opened with 31,064 sales - 19,814 of which being streaming. She might get close to the opening of Renaissance with just streaming if it keeps holding on well throughout the week!

Good to see I Luv It back! I wonder why it dropped out yesterday?

I wonder if it’s a glitch that’s happening more and more often? It happened to Austin and too sweet in the past week too!

Camila I Luv It  to #1 on Apple :o :o :o

I thought you were serious for a moment then.

Will these glitches affect the songs chart positions?

No I don’t think so. What Spotify report to the OCC is different to what shows up on their chart

come on Hozier keep climbing

nice to see Halo re-entering so high!

I know Texas Hold ‘Em was already a hit but I’m actually impressed by how well it is matching Benson on Spotify. I’d have expected it to be a lot further behind by now yet it’s pretty much keeping pace

There doesn't seem to be much of a push from his label to promote his album drop, maybe they're satisfied with the singles successes? You think with the right marketing it could do quite well given the popularity of In The Stars and Beautiful Things and now looking at Slow It Down possibly going Top 40 as well.

There's little attention on Benson's physicals so I'm not really expecting a big debut from his album, but residual streaming should be decent hopefully, with four hits (of some description) on it and Beautiful Things continuing to fly high.

I'm glad they're capitalising on the success of Beautiful Things and dropping the album now though, rather than trying to recreate its success with another couple of singles.

They've done a pretty good job with his singles so im sure they'll push it was in a few days
