Skipping the "chart resurgence" one for now, I feel like I could pick any song I like :P I haven't thought of one that's meaningful or realistic yet
I thought of one :magic: Rebecca Black - Friday

I forgot to choose it for Day 1 and would genuinely (unironically!) be so happy if it came back and got the peak it deserves

Song that tells a story: The Decemberists - The Mariner's Revenge Song

There's probably one I like more but this is the most recent discovery I can think of!

Day 19

Snow Patrol - Chocolate

love this one from Gary and co, and how they use a food item in a smart way

love is like chocolate, we enjoy it, we consume it, and after we've taken it all, we shit it out :D

He explained that at the only Snow Patrol gig I've been to...

This one's actually about the food item, at least via simile:

The king of parodies was chosen for today’s challenge. With his unique take on the classic Michael Jackson hit Beat It, Eat It is all about shoving food in your mouth and some of the food items that feature in the lyrics are egg, chicken, pie, tuna casserole, yogurt, spam and banana.

"Weird Al" Yankovic – Eat It
