April 20, 20241 yr Im shook!!! Padam Padam lipsync just sealed the deal for Nymphia...I've never jumped nor screamed more in my life during lip-sync performance!!! Before that I was dead sure Sapphira Cristal would take it, but as soon as RuPaul said 'Lip-sync to Padam Padam' I knew Nymphia was going to turn it up!!!
April 20, 20241 yr Have to say I am disappointed, to think that Sapphira can kill the season like that and still not win. I don’t think she will even come back for All Stars because there’s nothing to improve on or redeem with a run like she had. With Shea on AS5, she did kind of crash and burn in the lipsync tournament and that was a storyline for her at least. Nymphia was great though and it does show, Drag Race can always come down to what you bring on the night, and I do like that. I think it’s a season where out of this top 2, whichever of them won and whichever of them lost, it would feel wrong for the other not to have a crown.
April 20, 20241 yr Oh I'm so disappointed for Sapphira :cry: I don't know what she could've done more to be honest! Nymphia is a great winner, I just know there's room for growth in an All Stars season, that Sapphira doesn't actually need to do. Not to negate Nymphia's win, very significant in terms of her culture and the obvious fan favourite at the end. I just haven't been Team Anyone this much for quite a few seasons!!!

April 21, 20241 yr Just finished watching the episode and yeah, yikes. Sapphira was robbed of the crown. I really don't get Ru/production's logic either because if they purposely didn't have Sapphira/Plane win because they want them back for All Stars, where exactly do they go from here with storyline, redemption, etc? Sapphira in particular is fully realised, had the most amazing season, had a flawless runway package. Nymphia screams runner up that could've come back and smashed All Stars and won that. But meh, we move.

April 23, 20241 yr I think it might’ve indeed been the power of lip sync that made Nymphia win. In my view, in the last episode she became a close 2nd and that last lip sync showed her skills for the first time which is always better if your opponent already lip synced at least 3 times. I wonder what Q meant in that Maddy interview about Nymphia being a bitch and cancelled if anyone were ever to find out. :’)
April 23, 20241 yr Author Oh Q was probably just being bitter. I really couldn't stand that queen. But, Pav, Nymphia and Plane are good friends so it could be the case that Nymphia was also bitchy behind the scenes and the edit we got just chose not to show that.
April 24, 20241 yr Amanda’s face when Plane was on. Oh my! A bit of an anti-climactic winner for me. Yes Nymphia had an amazing and emotional first performance and her reveals in the final lip sync were great. But it does leave a little bad taste in my mouth to think that Plane and Saphira were stronger throughout and still lost….I guess that’s what happens when you leave it to a lip sync
May 31, 20241 yr Yes Nymphia!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: She slayed the finale night. Biggest shock/slay since Sasha Velour & Shea Coloueé or Yvie Oddly and Brooklyn Hytes? *_* Honestly I gagged at Nymphia's first performance, much better than what Plane did and better than Sapphira (although she also gave a great performance). The final lip sync as well... the balloon reveal, the cartwheel reveal, her general presence throughout the lip sync. As much as people moan about Sapphira being "robbed", this is the whole point of the finale to really allow everyone an equal platform to slay. I really enjoy that they do performances now in the finale instead of the lip sync smack down. On the night Nymphia really excelled and showed her stuff :wub: Sapphira did brilliantly and still won a good amount of money over the season (plus a holiday from a mini challenge). I hope she comes back to All Stars in the future. And for those saying she doesn't have a reason/storyline to, she should make a decent amount of money and she can slay some more! Also I hope Nymphia will appear on an all winners season at some point or maybe a spin-off like Global All Stars or a Vs the world season? Edited May 31, 20241 yr by Envoirment
