also nice to see London folk artist Myles Smith in at #15 with Stargazing! Guess he's had some pre-tease on Tiktok

the song reminds me of something else, not sure what

It's just because it was one of the songs from TTPD that she's added to her tour setlist, a couple of the others have had big rises too. (Mind, 'Down Bad' is on the list too but doesn't seem to have benefited too much).

I know I know the tour started

pity it hasn't benefited LOML, which is the bestest most amazing song she's done in ages

and that she also played solo on day 1 in Paris

Streaming numbers have gone through the roof recently at the top. I know the overall market has continued to grow for years but I'm surprised to see the most popular songs pulling ahead of the market in a way they haven't been for a few years.

It's great to see, although is really benefitting international acts at the moment, I wonder when any UK artists (Artemas and the odd Dua single aside) are going to make more of an impression again.

Eurovision might well be locked out of the top ten this year. I'd be very surprised if any entry gets over 500k streams in its peak day and that won't sustain probably or be enough for the top ten.

Funny how the market has changed so much compared to a year ago, with all this country and folk music around now.

I’ve noticed that but I feel it’s getting a bit boring now! I don’t feel like something unexpected like Padam Padam going top 10 could happen this year. The streams at the top have just doubled all of a sudden since about December.

omg I don't think I've ever seen Spotify numbers this crazy busy (outside Xmas obviously).

There are 4 songs over 10 million plays on Spotify WW chart...to me that's crazy, because usually it's just one song that pulls huge numbers ala As It Was, Driver's License and Flowers!!!

Loreen sneaking in at 199 on Spotify - hope she soars after tonight!

Apple Music, not Spotify! and she’s now at 156

could enter Spotify after her performance though she’s got better playlisting on Apple

absolutely stunned at the streaming numbers at the top of the chart currently. when was the last time that the top 6 all did 700k+ or the top 9 all did 500k+ on Spotify completely independently of each other (I add that stipulation because of course album bombs and xmas are different scenarios)? has it ever happened before?
I hope Crying At The Discoteque becomes the latest 00s song to get streamed enough for a reset thanks to Eurovision

If Posty goes #1, it could only spend a week there as Billie Eilish is releasing on Friday

I don't see it opening with the huge numbers that would be required for a #1 debut right now but the preview of Billie's new lead track does sound promising and I could see it making a strong first week splash. Hopefully another top 10 debut.

I think it’ll be benefiting songs on the setlist most. Surprise songs never tend to get boosts but all the ttpd songs now on the setlist are getting boosts!

This set list may get particularly strong boosts too due to it likely being the set list the UK get when she's here in June & August!

Post Malone #1 on Apple now.

No big Eurovision effect so far, Olly is at #59, new Loreen at #130 and Tattoo has re-enetered at #163.

I expect Olly will probably go top 40 officially for all of one week and that'll be it.
