I expect the next Calvin Harris track to be a big hit, although that does have an American feature in Miley. The Central Cee thing will likely be the next UK rap thing to make a significant impact on the charts, but also a collab with an American artist.

Judging by the clips, sounds like he's really over processed the vocal production as Miley sounds almost unrecognisable :(

In all seriousness, I think that's a bit of a factor too - the country seems to have lost its confidence, a huge amount of its money, its reputation and also affects ability of British acts to build up a name in touring in Europe.

 

Also talking about the big 2, Adele barely releases anything and Ed Sheeran's music doesn't seem to cut through in the more cynical post pandemic world, although can't write him off completely.
