September 6, 20241 yr I’ll be on my own on this by the sounds of it but glad they aren’t any higher, They do have good music but his voice just irritates the life out of me 🙈
September 6, 20241 yr Hoped PSB would be higher - their 80's Discography is stunning. So many faves too; Heart, Always on my Mind, Suburbia, Rent, Opportunities, Its a Sin, West End Girls, What Have I Done to Deserve This?, Domino Dancing...
September 6, 20241 yr That’s my final main act gone then… they did well but they should be top 5. From an objective point of view, there are few bands that have remained so consistent for so long
September 6, 20241 yr Fab to see PSB climb in. Some utter classics in 'What Have I Done To Deserve This?', 'Always On My Mind', 'West End Girls' among more than I enjoy. 'Love Etc' is a good one from the past 15 years too!
September 6, 20241 yr Oh my 29 pointer left today. :( I was expecting to see Pet Shop Boys top 5 this time to be honest. I love 'What Have I Done To Deserve This?' and 'Always On My Mind' but my fave of theirs is the underrated 'Left To My Own Devices' Edited September 6, 20241 yr by Jason
September 6, 20241 yr Oooooo it's not often we have matching taste but Left To My Own Devices is probably my favourite too
September 6, 20241 yr I’m a fan of pet shop boys they have some excellent singles. They are another one like killers though in that I’ve never massively got into any of their albums as a whole so that pushes them down my list some. They were still challenging for that lower placement due to some great singles though. Edited September 6, 20241 yr by spiceboy
September 6, 20241 yr I’ve never really been a fan of PSB, saying that though I’ve never really listened to any of their stuff.
September 6, 20241 yr 'Left To My Own Devices' was playing on the radio when I opened up this thread, oh my :o I did strongly consider voting for PSBs because I love what I know of their singles but I haven't delved into their albums properly yet, definitely need to change that.
September 6, 20241 yr I’ve never really been a fan of PSB, saying that though I’ve never really listened to any of their stuff. I find it hard to be a fan without listening too.
September 6, 20241 yr I find it hard to be a fan without listening too. Hahaha fair point. I meant to say I don’t think I could recall one of their songs, even casually.
September 6, 20241 yr Oooooo it's not often we have matching taste but Left To My Own Devices is probably my favourite too  That would be in my top 5 but I think it would be surpassed by Domino Dancing, Rent and It's A Sin! 'Left To My Own Devices' was playing on the radio when I opened up this thread, oh my :o Ooh I love it when the universe plays little tricks like that ❤️
September 7, 20241 yr Pet Shop Boys got an upgrade from my 5 points last time as I charted 'Loneliness' for them earlier this year. 'It's A Sin' is my fave of theirs, with 'Kings Cross' and 'What Have I Done To Deserve This' from the same album next. Only my 30 pointer remains from my votes - I hope they're the highest addition to the top 10 this rate! Edited September 7, 20241 yr by jimwatts
September 7, 20241 yr I’ll be a deeper shade of something if one of them isn’t out soon that’s for sure.
September 7, 20241 yr Great to see pet shop boys top 10 this time after missing out the last time. They have such a great discography, I especially love all their older stuff but they still release some great music.
