It's now likely that MAYHEM is gonna surpass how many weeks Chromatica did. Once MAYHEM reaches 25 weeks, it'll be Gaga's third longest-charting album! @HausofMayhem @Sour Candy

  • UK Album Chart 32 56 23 MAYHEM, Lady Gaga (Peak: 1) Amazing week for her! Albums charting at #32 and #42!! Another 3.3k so the total is 162.2k

  • These gains!!!

Excuse me, but it's not up to you to decide who is or isn't a fan of an artist, you're giving yourself too much importance. And I didn't see any racial trope? unsure I just gave my opinion and I stand by what I said. Stop being so woke since I'm latino and you are not. Y'all just love gaslighting about everyone else deserving the big awards except Gaga, while pretending to be rooting for her.

Okay x

I've only just seen everyone's comments about Tate / Sabrina and comparing that to Gaga. I am disappointed they didn't push another single or two it seemed like a crazy move to me when the album was so solid. I'm sure it would have easily hung around the UK charts for much longer. However, Gaga has done so much this year she's had intense huge global shows and a full tour (Plus Dead Dance) and the most promotion we've seen from her in YEARS there's loads of planning to pull this off the label / Gaga probably didn't want to push a single half-assed especially after Abra. It probably came down to time, many artists release just 1/2 pre-singles before the album and that's it these days. I guess Tate / Sabrina are at the peak of their careers in terms of reach so they sort of have to keep pushing on and Gaga doesn't really need to do that at this point in her life.

They obviously realised Dead Dance wasn't going to explode into a huge hit so that's why the bonus tracks and DD were added to the album to try and keep the streams going.

I wouldn't be mad at one final single happening still to give it a mini revival (Chances are basically zero) but it would be a moment to have a huge budget video and one final single to end the Mayhem era.

Releasing a new song in every two months is just oversaturation imo. Look at Sabrina's latest (Such a Funny Way), practically nobody cares. Mayhem era has been a top notch experience snd the awards season is still to come.

There's no reason they couldn't have at least pushed a single between Abracadabra and The Dead Dance. I'll forever find it frustrating how so much potential on that album essentially went to waste.

The big thing for me is, even if they weren’t hits, more videos would have been delicious. The visuals from this era have been fantastic

What is Mayhem on now sales wise for the UK, must be around 200k?

I would disagree and in Sabrina's case I think that fact she's done that for over 18 months straight is probably where it has burned out but I think its personally refreshing to see an artist do that. Harry did something similar with Fine Line and it worked pretty well for example as that only lasted just over 12 months and then he wrapped it up.

The album has been a great comeback for her and its great to see all the nominations, but I do feel its the most underplayed album of all time with the lack of singles. Fingers firmly crossed she wins one of the big ones at the Grammys and also I'm hoping she bags a BRIT too.

Perfect Celebrity was right there for finishing the Paparazzi trilogy!

Hopefully it won’t drop too much further, as in two weeks time with the Grammys taking place (and her hopefully attending and winning), it’ll gather some boost!

And 1 year ago today, history was changed with that announcement ❤️.

A year though.

Remember the album countdown on her website?

And the Little Detectives managing to find out the album name & cover via Inspect Element dd.

I’m still not ready for this era to be over. We deserve one final single and a high budget iconic video :/

This was such an incredible album & become my fave album of hers. Yeah I do wish there was more singles released and wished that 'Zombieboy' was the Halloween single instead of 'Dead Dance'.

Let's just appreciate what a great body of work this is.

An whole year since the genius that is 'Mayhem' came out what an great album this is from Gaga.
