It's not a 'Happy Ending' for Mika as he's out in 4th with his heartfelt ballad which became his fourth straight top 10 hit in 2007 peaking at 7. Accompanied by a choir in the chorus, Mika explains it's about a really sad breakup but also was inspired by a time he took a drive outside of his recording studio in Los Angeles where he saw loads of homeless people and was left with the shocking images which really connected more so with making this song. The woman singing with Mika on the song is a former classmate of his and opera singer.

No doubt about it, Watergate again as N Trance and Aaliyah would fill out my top 4 along with Mika and Jordin.

 

Watergate would be 6th here in the list for me but it's still an 8 or 8.5/10!

That's a strong top 3! Voted Aaliyah.

 

Just realised it's the first 3 years of the decade making up the final 3, perhaps the first time this has happened?

Aaliyah. An absolute classic but going up against two of my all-time favourites, including literally my favourite.
Wow that’s a sudden reversal of fortune for Aaliyah after being close to 0 in all previous rounds. I imagine Watergate will yet overtake though.

It did occur to me what gif you’d find if you’d ever choose HOA :lol: and I second that!! (For the billionth time :kink:)
