I think this thread - https://www.buzzjack.com/forums/topic/274208-itunes-streaming-youtube - could be more appropriate for Can't Get You Out of My Head chart updates, than in here. This documentary

  • The song ‘story’ will take on a new meaning after this…

Love that Story is being shown a bit of love - #39 on iTunes ❤️

Still obsessed with this moment being included!

So funny this video often pops up.

It’s no 1 on Uk and Australian Netflix, I’m so glad it seems to be finding an audience.

Ah was wondering how it was doing - this is amazing!

maybe we could have had an extra episode to cover just chart facts/song productions etc lol for all us nerds and really boost her streaming figures and big up her achievements etc.

Maybe, but what I'm trying to say is entire eras got completely skipped over, and apparently it skips straight from 2006 to 2019 when quite a lot happened in that time.

Do they share the numbers who watch? Ideally it needs to find an audience outside the UK/Australia but given the promo seems to target her 2 main markets I guess that’s where the focus is.

Wonder how much she received for this? I’ve joined Netflix (4k option, fingers crossed the Tension Tour is filmed in FHD otherwise I’ve wasted cash) but have used it previously and have no idea how successful it is.

Is Kylie in 4k….must say all the new interview footage shows every line and wrinkle, Kylie quite happy not to be perfectly lit and fully made up.

They do do articles usually a bit further down the line. I remember then giving figures for Take That one and Beckham

Almost at the end of Episode 2 - don’t think I’ve ever been so invested in a show, like most having grown up with Kylie it’s like playing out parts of my life along with what Kylie was going through in the background.

Need someone to make a playlist with all the songs used, mentioned and played by Kylie and everyone else 🤣

Yeah I got hooked last night. Was going to watch 1 but watched all 3 on the bounce

I’ll definitely be watching again at some point

Just finished the show - I was so invested I didn’t realise it had automatically moved to episode 3.

What a rollercoaster - I pray that ‘Story’ starts to take off as more and more people watch it.

And #1 in Ireland too.

Netflix viewing figures usually come out on a Tuesday.

So this weeks figures where 11th-18th May. i think number 10 worldwide on Netflix last week got 4.3m viewers so i'm not sure Kylie will get that but who knows

I watched all three parts of this today.

The third part was incredible. Such a beautiful episode that covered a lot of iconic moments from 2000 onwards that it felt like such a celebration of just how far she’s come, what she’s managed to achieve and everything she’s been through since the first cancer diagnosis. Goosebumps at the end of episode 2 when we got to the Spinning Around tease. I do wish though that maybe there were four episodes and the period of 2000-present was given more time to breathe so there wasn’t a complete abandonment of 2007-2018 minus lots of archive footage.

My only real critiques, 1 (that I did suspect would be the case before watching) is that there was quite a large dump of footage from the White Diamond documentary covering the Homecoming Tour and rebuilding herself after the cancer; and 2 that overall the whole thing did seem quite glossy without actually getting into anything too much. With such a large period of time to cover that was probably inevitable, but it would’ve been nice to hear more in depth perspectives and more time to give the parts where Dannii and co were talking room to breathe instead of just edited buzzwords layered into footage sequences.
